Frame: Black
Lens: Black Iridium Polarized
Also my first Oakleys. I loved the symmetrical look of the oval lenses. I never had a problem with breakage (maybe that was more prevalent in the original EJ generation?). My only (minor) complaint was that the arms squeezed around the head a bit tight; wearing them for extended periods of time wasn't entirely comfortable, but wasn't too bad.

Oakley would do well to re-release these; judging from the prices they fetch on eBay (especially for black ones), they would still sell extremely well as the look hasn't gone out of style (indeed, to me most of the more current styles out there are comparatively lame). I would say they (along with Juliet) are the quintessential "Oakley" sunglasses.

Alas, I lost my pair. I replaced them with Eye Jacket 2.0 which fit my head slightly better and also look cool...but as with relationships, you never forget your first...

Frame: Smoke
Lens: Black Iridium

I saw these on a local classified website and was trying to figure out why the FMJ looked more like a metallic paint color..

To my great surprise it was the Smoke SGH Exclusive model! in practically mint condition for a steal.

pretty happy with it. Classic Michael Jordan look, but the orbitals do touch my cheeks.

Frame: Black Gold
Lens: VR28

The originals were very popular while I was in high school, therefore, I always wanted a pair. After these were made in modern o-matter, they became a viable wearer pair. Unfortunately, they're too old to be cool, but not old enough to be retro just yet.

Frame: Pearl
Lens: Black Iridium
These are a solid 4. I wear them sometimes, but being semi vintage next to the original Eye Jackets, I wouldn't wear them all that much. The Pearl with Black Iridium is great for summer, they provide full eye coverage and are really comfortable to wear all day long. I particularly like that the fram flexes some for wider faces, but afraid to push them too far. Over all, I can't say that they will be in a display case anytime soon, but I'd rather have themn on hand than collecting dust. Freakin Awesome!

Frame: Black
Lens:Black Iridium Polarised

Bought this pair of Ebay about or two ago. My sister had a pair of the Minutes back in the day, so since then I'd always feel a nostalgic value with all the old school Oakleys. This is a great looking frame; it's a shame they don't really make a lot of spherical lenses anymore. They fit fairly comfortable, though I do agree they perhaps they wrap around just a bit too tightly around one's head, but I can deal with that. My only real complaint, which goes for most of the older Jacket models, is the lack of a rubber nose piece. Spending a hot day with hard plastic on your nose can get a little frustrating.

Other than that, a great looking and fitting frame.

Frame: FMJ Red
Lens: Black Iridium

This frame color is stunning, almost looks pearlescent in certain light. The black lenses compliment it very well too. They are comfortable, provide good coverage, and have a classic oakley look. They go really well with my clean stretch hat that is black with red trim.

Frame: cobalt
Lens: positive red iridium

just perfect. I had these for close to 7 years and wore them just about everyday. Easily my favorite lens and the frame was rather comfortable. The newer eye jackets just don't look right to me, they got it right the first time.

Frame: Carmel
Lens: VR50

Found these at a vault and was suprised that Eye Jackets were still left over from somewhere and ended up on the shelf. Needless to say, I couldn't leave them behind. The lens is very light, but works well with the golden frame. Can't say I'd ever wear them, but they do make a nice addition to the family.

Frame: Black
Lens: Persimmon

My wife offered me my first pair of oakleys and I thing this is the nicest I have ever seen. I could replace it by nothing else, its pur style is very perfect for city and also for sports. Never had any problem with them! Persimmon glasses are really perfect with black frame

Frame:Black
Lens:Black Iridium Polarized

Only got these because of my quest to complete the EJs, there are alot of EJs that came with the plain black frame so you can imagine my annoyance at having to get another one, only difference is these have Black Polar lens, which is a nice lens but if onyl they could have some different colour icons to differ them from the other plain black frame in the EJ line.

Frame:FMJ Red
Lens:Black Iridium

I didnt even know these existed until recently, FMJ red is such a great frame colour its so nice to see it used on my favourite model. EJs have always had the craziest frame options and they all look great, FMJ red is no exception.

Frame: FMJ 5.56
Lens: Black Iridium
This particular color combo put Oakley on the map for me. My friend had them and I was so jealous. I have a never-worn pair now just to commemorate them and the effect they had on me back in the day.

Frame: Electric Mustard
Lens: Black Iridium
One of Oakley's boldest color combinations. A classic design that still rocks. Becoming more and more rare and that makes them all the more special imo

Frame: Black Gold
Lens: Gold Iridium
This was my very first pair of Oakleys. My mother and sister bought them for me back in 1996. For me, the release of the Eye Jacket took Oakley to a whole other level. Back in '96, no one was wearing sunglasses with any kind of style or attitude. When the EJ's hit the market, everyone wanted them. To think $100 was extremely expensive for sunglasses. Thanks to my mom and sister I was sporting these bad boys. The Black Gold almost looks like a deep green, but it has a real classy, sophisticated look. If I could, I'd give them a 6/5 just for the sentimental reasons alone.

Frame: Black
Lens: Black Iridium
My first pair of Oakley sunglasses, got them in the 8th grad because everyone else did. Loved the way they wrapped completly over my eyes and did not let any light in. I had about five pairs of them because the earstems kept snapping, I think this was due to more fragile O-Matter back in the day.

Frame:FMJ 9MM
Lens:Black Iridium

ive been looking for these for a while. another great member of the FMJ family and pair number 20 for me.

Frame: gold X
Lens: gold
Ahh... the good old eyejacket. Almost perfect in form and function. lightweight, fits great, looks good too. A simple design with lots of color choices.
LEX7 -
Frame:Smoke
Lens:Black Iridium

Ive been told this pair is very rare, which probably explains why its been so hard to find a pair of these.
these are in the Sparkle/glitter group, another vital member of my eye jacket family.

Frame: Black Gold
Lens: Gold Iridium

The classic pair of Oakleys that sparked my interest in the O. Quite a few people in the UK were buying them, so after trying them to see what all the fuss was about, I had to have a pair. Yes, they make me look like a fly, but they remain extremely cool even today, and in my opinion are built and finished better than some current O matter styles.
LEX7 -
Frame:Joker
Lens:Gold Iridium

Another member of the sparkly family. this is a dark green frame, but when held up to the light goes an amazing emerald colour. the gold iridium lens makes the frame seem goldy green if that makes sense.
these are very nice and a welcome addition to my eye jacket collection.
LEX7 -
Frame:Cobalt
Lens:+Red Iridium

FINALLY found a good pair of these.
This is one of the classic eye jacket frame colours, so many people had these back in the day.
As with all the other eye jackets the frame goes perfectly with the lens. Metalic Blue and Red, perfect!
This frame has a lizard skin effect same as the Fuel and Gold X, but its blue instead of green or gold.
LEX7 -
Frame:Redline
Lens:Gold Iridium

These are a browny red frame in what i call the sparkly group. They are a very similar colour to corten and blackgold.
This is another frame colour best suited to the gold iridium lens.
as with all the other sparkly frames looks great when the sunlight hits them.

Frame: Black Gold
Lens: Gold Iridium

Finally got a pair of these at a motorcycle store. They hadn't seemed to have seen a rep in quite a while, and wouldn't sell me the stands. Bummer. Anyway, the glasses are very nice, but I really bought them because they were out of production. The lower orbital hits my cheeck bones and they don't seem to feel even on both sides. I do still like them, and Gold Iridium is nice as always, and the metallic frame looks nice and is similar to how the blue racing jacket frame was.

Frame: Joker
Lens: Gold Iridium
My friend used to own a pair of these. The only problem was the earstems used to pop out of their sockets. Otherwise, a great pair of shades.
LEX7 -
Frame:Midnight Blue
Lens:24K Gold Iridium

I originally got these only cos I wanted a 24K lens but when i got them I really liked the way the dark sparkly blue goes with the 24K lens.
Since I got 24K lenses in my XX X-metals I dont wear these as much but I still love the combo and occasionally wear them when im playing football.
This colour combo is also available in the minute and Twenty frames.

Frame:FMJ 45mm
Lens:Black Iridium

Another great FMJ frame colour, this is one of the very dark ones, id have to say a dark metalic gunmetal colour.
Very nice indeed and goes perfectly with the Black Iridium Lens.

Frame: Black
Lens: Black Iridium Polarized

These were my first pair of Oakley's, and also the first pair of DCJ :P I got the original pair in 1997 in an attempt to keep up with my friend (Januario), who had a pair of Fuel/Gold Iridium's. The original color scheme I had is not listed above. The frame was sort of a maroon version of Fuel, and the lenses were black. I broke the frame at least once and had it replaced. The second or third time I broke the frame, I sent them in, and they came back with a black frame. The final time I broke the frame, they made me buy a pair of Generations 2 Eye Jackets, while reimbursing me only $40. I decided to go polarized.

They are comfortable, have great eye coverage, and the polarized lenses are the best. The ear stems disconnect instead of breaking if you sit or step on them by accident. 4/5 due to breaking so many times.
