Frame: Crystal Red
Lens: + Red Iridium

After an extremely annoying amount of time spent trying to locate these, I have to say these glasses are fantastic. They are very similar to Frogskins and anyone who likes those will love the Jupiters. They feel more solid than the Frogskins and have a tighter fit. They also seem to wrap around a bit more. My only complaint is that the front of my box says +Red Iridium but the label on the back says Ruby Iridium and I had to pay extra for the Ruby.

Frame: Polished Clear, Matte Black (Ducati)
Lens: Violet Iridium, Black Iridium

When I first saw these I fell in love with the polished clear/violet iridium combo. After owning them awhile I gave them to my sister after not wearing them because I could never match them with anything. I ended up picking up the Nicky Haydens because I like the way matte black and black iridium look together.

Frame: Stanley Donwood
Lens: Grey Polarized

Fits a little to tight to my face so it causes my eyelashes to touch the inside the lenses. And not a big fan of the throw back look either. However, the 24k with the Matte black frame looks SWEET, and with the price tag around 110 its not so bad.

Just an update, well the tips of the temples have finally scratched the lenses, both sides..Its not noticeable when I wear them since they are nearly at the lower edges of the lens, but still, I mean come on! Oakley shades are expensive! My advice to all of you who buy this model, I suggest you put a small cloth in the inside part so that the tips just touch the cloth and never the lens.

Frame: Clear
Lens: Violet

This is a great looking pair of frames. An updated take on the classic "Frogskin" look, these give you that "I'm cool in a classiclt timeless way" look. Construction is "sturdier" than the old Frogskin, but I have to wonder how it would hold up as well, since the Jupiter doesn't flex as much.

Very cool Violet iridium lens coating is a real head turner. This looks great sitting on display. The clear frame has a tendency to chanel light around the frame so it's not so great for wearing in sunny conditions. How ironic.

Frame: Foose Signature Matte Black/Rust
Lens: Bronze

I have already reviewed the Jupiter and Jupiter LX, so this one will lean more towards the upsides and downsides of one particular signature pair. The first and really only biggest complaint one would have here is the price, $170 for $100 frame with no iridium lens and some extra paint. The question you need to ask yourself though is "is it worth it?" For me, I believe it was. Oakley rarely ever pairs black and bronze which is a fav combo for me. And, the addition of the rust icon and brushed silver band with the interior rust paint job add a subtle level of class to this pair instead of the standard understated black/gunmetal/silver icon/band that would be used. One drawback on the interior rust paint job however is that is is only on the stems and no the interior of the orbitals. I still do agree the price is high, but the glasses are and excellent combo to standout from the other standard releases without going as crazy as some of the artwork frames.

Frame: Polished Clear
Lens: Violet Iridium
First time I saw them, they were the sickest pair of Oakley I've seen. The violet iridium caught my eyes and I just gotta have it. Bought it and I am loving it. Very comfortable and you will barely know it's on your face. The frame/lenses combo is a plus for me.

Frame: Polished Clear
Lens: Violet Iridium

While these shades may not have the vintage allure as the Frogskins, they are definitely an improvement on the design. The large screw metal hinges are very smooth and tight, and the frame feels very solid in your hands. They simply feel sturdier than the frogskins. The frame also is more curved along the orbitals, giving the lenses more coverage than the frogskins. The clear/violet combo is an awesome reference to the old Frogskins of the same colors, and the shades always catch glances and questions. Sick shades.

Frame: Polished White
Lens:24K Gold Iridium
Definately a contrast to my Polished Rootbeer FlakJackets, looks like I should be sitting on the beach enjoying the sand and surf, if only in my mind. Good coverage only in direct light, you tend to get a reflection of the inside white of the frame.

Frame: Polished Clear
Lens: Violet Iridium

When I first saw this fram I had to have it. The design and shape is so classic but with just enough mad science thrown in that it somehow begs for crazy color combinations. They fit my medium large head quite well and as is expected with o-matter they are incredibly lightweight and flexible enough to maintain just the right amount of pressure to stay on without being uncomfortable. This frame would be an easy five if it came in polarized. Come on Oakley bring it on. We buy your glasses for style and performance. Why must we choose?

Frame: Matte

I bought this style because it looks like the Ray Ban Wayfarer but only cooler:) It has a nice fit, better than my Crosshair. My complaint is that when you close the temples, the edges touch the lenses.

Frame: Polished Clear
Lens: Violet Iridium
I have been hesitant to purchase this retro-inspired pair as well as the re-released Frogskins. Some people can pull the look off, while I can't. But, there is good news if you are like me. The Polished Clear frame on the Jupiter does not look nearly as obvious as the solid colors. I recommend this particular pair to anyone who is anxious but wants to add a bit of spark to their collection. They are much lighter than the LX and they fit great. I will wear these until someone makes a "Look at that old man in the young kid glasses Mom!" comment.

Frame: Crystal Red
Lens: +Red

I would first have to echo all my positive comments and praise from my review about the LX. As suspected, I also remove most qualms I had being most were with the stiffness and rigidity of the acetate frame and large hinge structure. (See: http://www.o-review.com/glassesmodels.asp?ID=2862) These glasses are in turn the new classic. The contours of the 1980s and the edge of the 2000s. Beloved classic colorways and proven modern combos. A great update for those looking for a modern Frogskin.

Frame: Polished White
Lens: 24K gold

This style have opened a whole new chapter for my Oakley collecting. It truly is an updated Frogskin with just enough wrap to give great coverage & still utilize Oakley's XYZ optics. There is also alot of room for some killer custom options with the colors given, my personal fav being matte black w/24K lenses/icons/hinge point. The frames are standard Omatter and have the solid yet flexible feel you expect from any other Omatter frame, the LX (accetate frame) is too tight for me to wear all day but these are hella comfortable.
