Frame: black rain
Lens: red iridium

Classic describes them best, they are style meet performance as best as the eighties could muster.

Frame: Crystal Red
Lens: Red Iridium
This is my favorite generation of Frogskins, as they fit nice and tight and feel rock solid on and off your face. Also Crystal Red/(+)Red Iridium is my favorite Oakley colorway of all time, so I was overjoyed to pick these up.

These are the crown jewel of my collection

Frame: Lutzka edition
Lens: Violet

These are very awesome sunglasses that generally stand out in my case.It is interesting to me how many people just absolutely love them. The fit is pretty good and despite the size of the box they are a pretty large wear. It is really a cool frame with Lutzka on one side and appropriately "Good Livin" on the other! They are excellent.

Frame: Black
Lens: Grey

Classic styling. All day comfort. Wore these on a 19 degree day in Manhattan. Kept the wind out of my eyes and provided excellent coverage. As always, the HDO keeps things from getting distorted. Although, at first glance they look like everyone else's attempt at retro, the logo on the arms screams otherwise.

Frame: Polished White
Lens: Ruby

Great retro styling. I remember staring at my classmates in envy as they paraded around in these when i was in Junior high/Senior high. I could only afford dollar store pairs. Well, now, I can afford these and they can't! Who's laughing now!?!?!? Anyway, I digress.

Great styling, incredibly ididium coating. These actually fit in front of my wife's prescription versace frames and hide the arms and the lenses. She LOVES these glasses and won't let me wear them. Ah well. I love they way they look. Great nostalgic value.

Frame: I like the frame. It kind of looks like dollar store frame, but the very comfy and retro! The Oakley stretch on the side is a definite must and sealer for the deal.

Lens: The lenses are very big and fit nicely around your eyes. I enjoy the Fire Iridium just because of the Iridium effect in the summer.

Frame: Crystal Black
Lens: +Red Iridium

At the time I purchased these back in the early 90's, this shape/style frame was very popular, and Oakley's version added something very special. First, the colors and overall look was very different and exciting, and second, the quality craftsmanship far exceeded the usual and more common version of this style sunglasses made by other companies. I remember feeling so cool in these shades, however at this point, I wouldn't be caught dead in them - unless I was at an 80's party or bar. The fact that I no longer like this shape/style of sunglasses is the only reason that I didn't give these the full 5 skull rating.

Frame: Crystal Red
Lens: Grey

First Gen 2 frame that I've gotten. The frame seems to have split in a few places, but it's still together. The Crystal Red is vibrant as ever and if I weren't worried about breaking them, I'd certainly wear them out more often. There's a guy at work here who still does, so more power to him.

Frame: various frames
Lens: various colors
if you want to know which colors, check my personal collection.
this is to me the pinnacle of eighties styling ; don johnson / madonna meets oakley. first gen feels cheap, second gen. is much better. just pissed that i never saved the black rain colour
momentarily i'm chasing pos.red , after chasing violet lenses for a while

Frame:Crystal Red
Lens:Black Iridium

Ive been wanting a pair of these for a while.
I would have prefered a different colour lens but these still look so cool and retro I dont mind.
The Crystal Red frame is so classic and looks so good in the sunlight.
The frame is rigid and does not mould the face like newer oakleys.
These are not comfortable or pratcical to wear so I suggest you get pair of these for your collection and keep them there

Frame: Crystal
Lens: Violet

I can't even count how many people had worn these when I bought them. One of the first and definite most mainstream Oakleys. A sleek look for a wayfarer style. Plastic hinges were nicer then metal, but broke. I so wanted Crystal Red and the Black Rain was a great pattern to go out on. Flat lenses and rigid arms. I think I still have my moms Crystal Black/Violet pair that she bought out of nowhere.
