Case: Honed
Face: White

This watch is suprisingly comfortable. I didn't think I'd actually like the cuff; thought about replacing it before I received it. The way it wraps around your wrist is great. I haven't worn leather in years. Nice thickness on the band. The overall design is not screaming, but still commanding. Now, even more than then, you can get these cheap. Completely worth the try from this skeptic.

I can tell you that for the price you cant get a better watch. Yeah it has a leather band on it, but thats one of the things that cathes peoples eye. Most people ask me all about it. I have to say, I didnt think it was gonna be as cool as it is

My first Oakley watch. It's a great introduction to watches. You can find them fairly cheap. I paid $60. The leather is much higher quality than any other band that I've seen. It gets lots of compliments when I wear it.

I have nothing against the Saddleback, but I just can't get into it. I have always been into metal bracelets, so that might have a lot to do with it. The wide leather band, while giving the Saddleback a distinct look, does detract from the aggressive look that I have come to associate with Oakley watches. It's a little too tame for my tastes. The dial is quite basic. Overall, I think it has its place in the lineup, but just doesn't scream Oakley - which may be what some people like about it.

Awesome watch, just got it today. I have a huge ass wrist, probably 8 1/4", I know, huge, the watch is big enough, with room to spare, that on its own, is a major reason for purchase.
Beauty, the Olive comes off amazing in casual wear. Lightweight, yet solid. Excellent Watch. Only down side, if you have a smaller wrist, and every day you need to use one of the slots down the line of the band, you will probably have a wrinkle effect all the way up to that spot on the leather. this isnt the biggest deal, cause for the most part, its on the underside. Has a very strong Army Look

Band: Black Leather
Casing/Face: Stealth

I usually favor a metal band over a leather band. But the fact that this leather band is thick and wide, plus it's versatile with the sheath being removable, makes it a nice choice for Oakley's first leather band watch release. The military-esque face and the spinal/bone like sides of the casing definitely gives it more of an aggressive feel than most of the leather cuff/band watches that I have seen.

The watch is great except that it shows the numbers. I love the outside shape of the watch

i guess i was having higher expectations for the Saddleback, after how happy i've been with all my other Oakley watches. this one isn't as nicely executed as, say... the Judge, GMT, or even a Detonator. the watch face is nice enough, it's inspired by Army Field watches and it looks very nice, so does the overall casing shape (nice agressive bumps on the sides), but the leather seems subpar. i was expecting a nice, shiny leather; either like smooth naked cowhide or pebbled grain cowhide. instead, it looks like cheaper, dull looking, wrinked nubuck leather. however, the leather is nice and thick, and should be sturdy enough for constant use. leather also molds nicely as one uses it, so it will form to your wrist shape. also, the Saddleback is noticibly lighter than a Blade or a GMT... maybe its the lack of a metal band. the leather cuff is really comfortable to wear, and looks wide and beefy. nice change from wearing metal or unobtanium bands all the time.

I have them all but the brown/ivy which i plan to get soon and i really dig them. its a nice change to wear the leather cuff.

A very sweet watch. After wearing a Time Bomb, GMT and Blade over the years, it just seems so wierd to strap on just a beefy watch band and have it be so light. Very comfortable, a great look. I love the metal/leather look, very well incorporated.
It was also mentioned that the face could be switched out with a GMT or Judge face ... awesome versatility!
