Frame: Cinder Red
Lens: Black Iridium

Big, perfect for bright sun, especially at the beach. They're nice and big and have some sharp lines but definitly distinctive. Can't say I haven't waited a long time for these, but I have. It was worth it. Can't wait to wear them this summer.

Frame: Dark Translucent Olive

I remember seeing these on the website and wanting the bad. The color looked even better in person. Only problem is they sat on my cheeks too much that they bounced when I talked. Gave them away to a friend and she lost them. Great looking pair in my opinion.

this pair is huge on my face and feels like its going to fall off, but since they are oakley and im a collector I still love em.

Frame: Ducati
Lens: Amber Black Iridium Polarized

Another long term review. I've had these for almost a year. I used these as fishing glasses for the first time last week. EXCELLENT lens. The polarization cut all the glare off the surface of the water and I could cast where other folks standing couldn't see fish. End result, 5 trout in about 30 minutes, all from a spot where the non-eyewear people said they saw no fish.

I added Flak Jacket Unobtanium ear pieces and these helped IMMENSELY. I would have lost these multiple times that day since it was hot and I was sweating. Without these, the glasses would have slid off my face.

Thus, the glasses rate only a 4 long term since the O-matter is VERY slippery when you sweat and tends to slide around your face (if you have a shorter nose bridge- Asian). If Oakley made Unob ear piece kits for them, that would be great, but... they don't. Good glasses-EXCELLENT lenses.

I have the Ducati version of these. I popped out the ducati lens to preserve them and put in Amber iridium polarized. Style wise, these are excellent and are a great entry into the more style concious market .vs the sport oriented market. However, no compromises in the material or workman ship. They do tend to slid of the head easily if you are sweating. I had to install unob ear pieces from Flak jackets to keep them on my head when I play volleyball or go boating or fishing. Nice and lightweight, it's quite a change from my x-metals (Juliet). WOuld fit most mid to large heads well. However, most Asians would have some issues. I'm asian and I don't have really high cheekbones and these rest on my cheekbones as it is. It's pretty annoying when you're sweating to have these sitting on your cheeks. Again, 4/5 since it doesn't fit perfect

Frame: Cinder
Lens: Black Iridium
You can't beat the color of this frame. It's dark and subtle enough to appear black, but it's much more of a deep red when in the right light. As always, the black iridum is a good choice. The frames are big, almost bulky, but look good on my fat head. The style isn't for everyone, but it's a good look and different from the others out there.

Frame: dark translucent olive

i love large sunglasses and this model fits it to a tee. my problem though is the short ear stems, with some up-down head movement it feels like it'd fall off. it also has a lot of "holes" left when i wear it, not as snug as i'd like it to be. it doesn't have that wrap-around feel that my monster dog gives me... but appearance wise, these are a knock-out pair. :)

Frame: Cinder Red
Lens: Black Iridium

One of my favorite frames that I own. With the arm being so wide, they're super comfortable. I was afraid with it being such a big frame, and me being a girl with a narrow face, that it would be too wide.... but no problem! I love the Cinder Red color, and you can never go wrong with Black Iridium.

Frame: Black

From a fashion standpoint, these frames are really up to date. These polarized lenses also work extremely well for fishing and water sports. My only complaint is that most Oakley cases don't fit them very well,

Frame:Polished white (red icons)
Lens:Ruby

Sickest combo ever, the white frame is so loud is perfect with the ruby and the red icons just complete it, so outrageous they just have to be worn even though i think there 1 of 2.

Frame: Dark Translucent Olive
Lens: Grey

Initially, I wanted to get a pair of Five 3.0s, but they were too small for my big head, so I kept going up frames until I got to a point where it was between the OD and the Eyepatch, I chose the OD because they were slightly bigger, had a chunkier feel and had those sick flared earstems. It was a toss up between the olive and the cinder red frame, I chose the olive because of the translucency of the frame which allows you to see the detail a bit better, but the colour on the cinder red frame is amazing.

Frame: Polished white (with USA Icon)
Lens: Black iridum

Got these from total-o. These are deifnitly my new favorites, i cant tell you how much i love them, oakley seriously needs to sell white oil drums in the o-stores. plus the USa O-icon is pretty nice.
LEX7 -
Frame:Matte Brown
Lens:Bronze

I wasnt going to get another OD cos i wasnt too inspired by the other combos. so when i saw this custom pair i had to get them, matte brown is a very nice colour, simple and versatile. saldy it came with the standard bronze lens so i will be changing it for Amber black polar lenses very soon.

These are awesome. Oakleys take on the Big Glasses Fad.
Way better than the rest.
Awesome frame design. The colors arent bad however.
I agree with most people when they say, Why doesnt oakley make a white Oil Drum, and more lens options
LEX7 -
Frame:Polished Black (Cisse)
Lens:Grey

I dont know why i waited so long to get oildrums, they are awesome, sooo comfortable for my big head and provide excellent coverage in this huge wraparound frame. so when i heard aboutt he cisses versions i just had to grab them, and ofcourse i was happy to hear how damn rare they are.
the left lens has a bloodskull on instead of cisse sig instead his sig is on the earstem which makes a nice change.

Very comfortable on my big head with good proportions. coverage is great with no light seeping in from the sides.

Frame: Cinder Red

I love these glasses. I love how big they are and I love the styling. They're kind of like the Gascan's big brother, except with a few extra flares. The earstem detail is pretty cool and the hard angles offer an industrial look that so many people are after. If you're after a fashion forward design that still has sport appeal, look no further.

Frame: Brown Smoke
Lens: Bronze Polarized

Brown smoke with the bronze polarized is one of the coolest looking color combos. I'm not a big fan of the polarized though but these are still pretty sweet. Eye coverage is beyond excellent and the fit was very nice. These are very unique looking too. Definite must own.

Frame: Polished Black

I am very amazed at how well these fit me. The Gascans don't fit me worth a bit. But these fit exceptionally well. Eye coverage is excellent and these are very stylish and light.

Frame: Dark Translucent Olive
Lens: Grey

Yet another Oakley model trying to atract the fashion crowd with the oversized lenses that could possibly cover Rhode Island during a July heat wave. You need a certain face and/or a certain attitude to pull these off and since I have neither, I won't be buying these any time soon. I do like the Olive Crystal frame though, and the double-flapped earstems look really, really cool.

I can't wait to try these in person. It is already February and Oakley Japan is not even close to having these. I like the design and think they are a cool derivative of the Gascan but with a distinct arm design. I am leaning towards the cinder red model and I will update this review once I have them.

Edit: Got the Cinder Red/Black combo and can't say enough good things about them. They are big, but they don't look silly like some other wildly-large styles. The color of the frame is very subtle and appears black at first glance, but the metallic dark red is absolutely stunning. A friend tried them on and immediately said "Get me a pair" so I think it's safe to say Oakley has another hit on their hands.

The lense coverage is excellent. Despite being big the sunglasses are lightweight. The arms felt a little short but I tried to get them to fall off my face and couldn't, so its a non-issue. The grey lenses were pretty bland, but when I tried the Amber Black Iridium polarized I was really starting to like the sunglasses (I like large coverage lenses with some color). They looked decent on my face too. The only problem with these that I could tell is ventilation. They were fogging up on me inside the store.

Frame: Dark Olive

Big, big frame but good for the coverage. I like the fit even better than the gascan because Earstem pressure is almost non-existant due to the width of them.

Frame: Brown Smoke
Lens: Bronze Polarized

Enthousiastic about the design I decided to try one on.
The lensshape is rather large, making it hard for air to circulate. I used the Oildrum on a warm day and as soon as I'd get in my car with the airco running the lenses would condens on the higher end, making it difficult to look through.
I can imagine the frame would be excelent for outdoor activities, as there's less changing in temperatures. I'll stick to my Monsterdogs, however.

Frame: Pol Black

Dear me, they look TERRIBLE on me. Overall design is kinda cool and it stands out (loud) so be prepared for looks. In the store where I tried them on (and took a pic) two girls laughed at me saying that they looked bad on me. Too big. But may fit other people's faces/style so...
Snazzmaster -
Frame: Cinder Red
Lens: Black

This is a hot frame and a very simple one at that. The front really appealed to me because it is a nice chunky flat square. The cinder frame color is insane in the bright sunlight. This style will do very well. Looks great on men and women.
DisturbedEarth -
Frame: Olive
Lens: Gray

While the lenses are big - the frame overall is not that wide....Oogie's assement is pretty close IMO...the earstems are cool, but I don't see this as a frame I'll be wearing a great deal. On the upside, it is on the cooler side of all the new "Fashion" designs that are coming out now....

these are tight as hell.
they look sexy. more eurotrash as my boss calls it. their coming out with more like this. so be prepared! :)
oogie -
Frame: Black

Big, chunky, and a case of the "blahs". I think this is another pair that will have to grow on me. I don't hate it, but it doesn't inspire me. It's BIG, which as a certain flare. But the lenses/front frame styling is pretty boring. The earstems are pretty cool. I think I'll reserve my final judgment until I start seeing the colorway I'm really looking forward to: Cinder Red/Black.
