Hi O-guys,

Here's a spanish expat living in Switzerland.

Oakley collector since long time ago and owner of more than 20 pairs already. Mainly focused in sport ones as I not only show them but use them on the bike :-)

Hi Guys,

I have the Eyeshade TdF edition and I would like to know if the classic original lenses are compatible with this model as one dealer offered me some.

Any special lenses in this year's TdF?
There was the EVZero with laser etching pattern all around the faux orbital for 2018 and the prizm camo lens for the radar pace for 2017. - HED4JC

I think only the TdF etched logo on the low left side of the lenses.

I spotted it today at oakley.com. They are releasing the Tour du France editions slowly:

Based on the fact it is vented and has a Zero nose piece attached to it I'm going to venture it is either a G30 or Slate. Sometimes the blueish tint on a G30 is hard to pick up in pictures. The numbers at the top of the lens are the date code or date of production. - GRFMotorsports

It has some blueish ink on it and I thought it was slate iridium but I am not sure now as I see G30 pictures. The seller gave me as well an orange lenses with the pack (sweep).

I have a small question, I purchased a pro M frame (mate black) and it comes with heater lenses. I cannot say exactly the type.

The SKU is the 07-10-00, I cannot find it.

- cmunozh

pretty sure that is the date of manufacture. - mjt42

I attach another pic, maybe you can bring me some light.

Maybe golf or slate iridium??

I found one Radar EV for auction, mint with box, original bag bag, case... Is it worth to bet?.

If Yes... how much?

The term "team color" first appeared to consumers as a collection of frame colours on OCP. There was also a collection from about 2018, which I think is what you're really referring to. Oakley puts out a bunch of collections together; some of which have really cool colourways (like the Camo collection) but most of them are generic and stuff you can get on OCP (like the Ruby, Jade, etc. collections). The Prizm Team Collection is one of the latter:

Thx for the reply

I checked the web and they are from 2016.

In any case, they are not a fancy special ed or so, right?. I was wondering they would be some kind of cycling team ed,

The point is that I cannot find so much info about the "Team Colors", is it come kind of Cycling teams edition or so?

Cheers,
Cmunozh

That Japan edition makes me wonder why they don´t release any Radar/Jawbreaker/Sutro.... - cmunozh

My guess is in Japan these are more popular frames because they fit a wider variety of face shapes

I’d take any colorshift looking Sutro or jawbreaker! - M

Yeah, well. You are right in that way but if tha's the Olympics colours and edition... despite the Olympics are posponed by now, they should show other models, right?

Imho, I prefer the other olympic games edition, this one... meh, maybe I ´ll take some Jawbreaker o radar but only for collecting purposes...
