I have been ínto' Oakley since I got my first pair of wires back in the early 90's. Since then I have had the obession of wearing something Oakley every single day. Which is hard on your wedding day! thankfully socks and watches are discreet! My fav item of all is my kitchen sink pack. I just buy the glasses I like, with no real purpose in mind other than to own what I like. I do have a weakness for limited edition clothes / bags though.

Does anyone recognise this bag? I though tit was a canteen, but it also seems to be AP'ish.
Seems legit, but then the good fakes always do don't they.

Hello O crew
Like a lot of us older folk, my eyesight is on the wain, so I now need prescription lenses 24/7.
I have x-squared & Juliet's with prescriptions in, but I am desperate for the mad men.
Does anyone know if I can get prescription lenses in these? The official site/s are so unfriendly I can't find an answer

Did anyone ever pop on these?

Hey everyone, been a while, so thought I'd drop by and say hello again. Had the worst 12 months of my life, but all starting to look up a bit now. Hope all the regular (old) faces are fit and well

Guys, although I'm in Melbourne, I am a London lad by birth (and heart, and until 4 years ago) I do pop back home now and again, so if there is anything happening London way Mid October or in the distant future of June '13, I'm up for a meet n greet. Also, anybody want any Aussie exclusives, just drop me a PM, I'm within 10 miles of Oakley Aus HO and two stores.
ps. It's been fantastic being an Englishman over here during the Olympics :)

Hello again everyone. Thank you so much for your thoughts, prayers and wishes. Well I had a little but of good news. My dad (back home in England) had surgery and the cancer was removed, now it's a course of chemo, but the doctors are confident that they caught it in time. This period has really made me think about my life, and as much as I love the O, the items stolen were just items. A watch, a bag and four pairs of sunglasses, which aren't really that important compared to actual life.
Thanks again for your kind words, and to quote a big Austrian.
I'll be back :)

Hello everybody, thought I should drop in for the first time in a few months. Had a tough old time of it recently, lost my job, dad diagnosed with skin cancer, mother in law diagnosed with breast cancer, best friends mum given 3-6 weeks to live (as of yesterday, and she's back in England) and to top it all off, we were burgled at the start of the month and some of my Oakley gear was snatched!! not happy at the moment, but trying to get back into life.
Hope everyone else on here is doing better then me :)
cheers guys and gals

Really impressed with everyone on here.
Well done all the winners and a HUGE thanks and well done to the gift givers.
It's the people that make this site so special.

Thanks guys. I thought the paintjob so to speak looked a little cheap to be original O stock.
I've emailed the seller for more info but thus far nothing. I like to give people the beneift of the doubt, but as he wants $300 for them, I reckon he knows they are dodgy and is looking for a mug.

I've come across a pair of gascans(?) on fleabay. Now I cannot find anything like these on the web.
The seller states that they were given to a friend who worked at the head office, which always makes me dubious, however, I'm only aware of the white text ones given out to reps.
Anybody ever heard about what I would call digital camo (grey/green) and grey lenses on gascans?

This is what makes the O Review special. The people on it

I'm a huge Tour fan, and I like Cadel too, but I feel he stole the yellow jersey this year. Plus, there is nothing worse than smug Australian media! Role on 2012 when Andy finally wins

Godfather. Greatest film of all time.Although maybe godfather part2? either of them.
They form part of my 'film' test. If you haven't seen them, you have no valid point of view to make regarding films! :)

Found myself a pair of brand new Troy Lee gascans for just over $100. been chasing these for a couple of years, but couldn't justiry the $250+ everyone seems to want. Slowly building up my gascan collection....
Oh, I too have joined the frog squad. Jupiter Fuel cells really will be my shades for summer 2011!

Finally got my hands on the "Dexter' bag. I've been after one these bags for years, but when they were in stores I never had the money, then Dexter hit the TV and every Tom, Dick and Harry wacked them on ebay for at least double the RRP. I found a really nice fella in the US who got me this for $200 inc. shipping. I was more than happy to pay, to finally put a tick on this :)
