Everything started a day of 1989. Tour de France, Time Trial: Greg Lemond wins his second Tour with some crazy Oakley neon yellow sunglasses (Razor Blades) on his head!
From this day, I literally felt in love with the O and began to collect and to wear Oakley sunglasses. My first pair was of course the same Razor Blades worn by Lemond. A few years later, I got my first pair of M-Frame, followed by the first Subzero and then the Romeo. At the beginning, my collection raised slowly but surely (I was student and was from time to time forced to sell old rare pairs of O's to get some new ones ). 30 years later, I now own more than 200 pairs of Oakley sunglasses, about 20 watches and a lot of apparel and accessories.
I'm an Oakley addict (sunglasses, goggles, watches, apparel) and a proud member of this community:-)

One word: ridiculous!

As always their renders are worse than the actual product, thankfully. Seen in Budapest yesterday on Fred Kerley in his 3rd place finish.

Thought exactly the same: much better in real (but still narrow).

The red one with planet x pattern is beautiful.
For the others, I'm a bit disappointed:
- the "steel" pattern on the blue one is not a good choice (nothing historical in this colour). Carbon would have been correct.
- the "carbon" pattern is the modern one (ugly) and not the real carbon look like the historical models. Why??? This looks so fake...

It seems they are (prizm and factory pilot logo seems to be legit). These version has be seen on olympic athletes during the olympics in Tokyo.

2022, Beijing Olympics Limited Edition

My god: the design team definitively had no imagination on these ones...

He apparently screwed a bunch of people out of frames and money, went MIA - DBNInc

Me being one of them.

Frankly, there are more reputable, timely and talented customizers out there nowadays. - MicahS

I just can confirm. He owes me several frames... or a lot of money!

Mixed feelings about this one... A bit too much of a mix between ev zero and the kato. We’ll see when there will be more official pictures....

Another absurdely ultra limited, US limited (f*c* to all the other loyal brand lovers) and absurdely overpriced item! In one word: bullshit. It was definitively not worth the wait... Bye bye...

Very nice and interesting pictures (never seen before). That's a special edition as we are missing them actually...
(what an idea from Luxx to switch Ferrari from Oakley to RB)

Seriously? First they limit it to only 20 pieces (welcome scalpers), then they made it US only (very nice for all the fellow collectors from all over the world) and the cherry on the cake: an overpriced item. Sorry Oakley, but you couldn't made it any wronger than that...

The idea of a fitted performance frame might be interesting, the concrete result doesn't convince me at all. Especially the unfinished upper and side parts of frame look like something handcrafted and not like a finished product (the earsocks might be ok though). And regarding the nose part, I still don't understand what kind of advantage this should brings to you… Let's wait and see what the marketing will explain us about it.

I didn’t realize there were more colours available for the ARO 7 other than the original 2 (at least made available to the public):
- Oak

This is some exclusive stuff that was made for the team Dimension Data. They probably prepared some helmets in every special jersey colors (Giro+Tour de France), for the case a team member would have to wear it during the race. Now they're selling all the stuff because of the sponsor switch...

Some very interesting items but unfortunately not a lot of (big) sizes...

I don't get it. Is he playing with those ? - BiGCoB

It would be funny;-))))
No, just a safety measure to celebrate without champagne in the eyes.

Frogs and Windjacket are great but would have been even greater with 24K lenses!

I would think most collectors would be disappointed because it’s called “splatter”, similar to how most of us were disappointed when we saw what the splatter Hijinx looked like. There’s a certain vision and expectation that won’t be met. Classify it with other misnomers like Romeo 2 and New X-metals. If that can be overlooked, I think many will enjoy the line.

That’s probably the problem. Another name for this collection would have been a better choice.

As I've heard about "splatter", I was excited. After seeing the result, I'm just frustrated. Very unspectacular and bizarre choice of colours. The black frog is ok, the rest seems to have been painted by the apprentice... Come on, if DrChop, Wavecloud and some other artists can do it nicely, why not Oakley?

I hope we will be able to buy them as replacement lens very soon.
The actual "all white" collection seems pretty boring IMHO

Very nice collection. I would have loved a sliver (non xl) but apparently they are slowly replacing it with the XL model...

Vented about this yesterday. I wish they would stop making just black frame glasses with a little design on the icon. Everything is the same and it's frustrating. They should introduce the icon design into the frames themselves. That would be awesome but I know will never happen under this administration:( - JP

Couldn't agree more! These styles looks so boring. IMHO the "thin blue line" concept from DrChop is what they should have done.
