I have a pair of EyeKon hatchet lenses... the optical quality is no where near is as good as Oakley lenses. Think of them as cheap sunglass lenses, they probably have ok UV protection (even 6 dollar sunglasses do) but as far as optical clarity/precision they are not good.

Perhaps a valuable takeaway is that not everything can pass a laser convergence test, so if you buy some Oakleys on ebay and you're not 100% sure they are authentic do a laser convergence test and if they fail then you know they are fake.

I conducted a few pseudo scientific tests on the Maui Jim's compared to a couple pairs of Oakleys.

I did the laser convergence test and tried to do a resolution test. The Oakleys performed great in the laser convergence test (as they demonstrate in the Rolling Lab). The Maui Jims also performed great in the laser convergence test.

I tried testing eyeKon after market lenses for my Hatchets and they did not perform great...looks like I need to find some original Hatchet lenses.

As far as the resolution tests it was in conclusive because I didn't have anything that I could be sure didn't refocus after the lens was placed in front of it.

Anyone ever tried a pair of Maui Jim Sunglasses. I had a pair of Thousand Peaks but I decided to send it back and get a Mala instead since it seemed more comfortable, lighter, with better lens technology.

I haven't tried them yet, but I'm interested in comparing them to my Nanowire 2.0s since they are similiar styles.

When I purchased these the seller told me they were a one of a kind color.

I've looked on google images I couldn't find any listing of this color scheme.

I'm in the market for a new Oakley Watch, and was trying to decide between the Time Tank and another Time Bomb so I went to the closest O-Store today.

While I was there looked at some of the newer styles like the Judge II and I noticed how terrible it is compared to the original Judge(which rocks by the way). What happened? Why does the Judge II and the Jury II look so lame compared to the originals... or is it just me? The originals have like sleek looking hands and faces.

In conclusion I think I'm going to go with a Silver Time Tank.

Look at this piece of trash selling cheap fakes as if they are real Oakleys. This guy is much worse than any of those fake/replica webpages in that atleast they admit their trash is fake.

Please help report him to ebay, before people buy his junk and think they are real.

I have a watch winder but I only run the timebomb like 3 or 4 days before I plan on wearing it... running it 24/7 just creates wear on the gears.

Although the easy way to tell is when you look through them if they have a blueish tint they are Ruby, if they have a greenish yellowish tint they are Fire.

I just realized that I actually was wearing O gear at the time. That blue shirt under the trashbag is an Oakley shirt. If you look at the tag on the left sleeve you will see the O tag but probably not be able to make it out.

I'll definitely sport the O in the other clips I'll make/post but I didn't want to get any beer on my glasses... come on now, who wants to stink up some X-Metals with beer smell(if it went toward my face)

Yea, pretty much any can. Soda gets sticky though so it's best to go with either Diet Soda or beer.

It's not so much a trick as it is having strong hands. I'll be happy to tell you in detail how I do it but if your mitts aren't strong enough it's not going to work. But it's definitely something anybody can do if they train your hands/wrists enough.

I hold it like with my right hand so my thumb is facing up, and put my left hand on the can with my thumb facing down. Put the can toward the middle of your chest/bottom of your rib cage, squeeze together with your chest as you crush with your fingers. It's really important that you WEAR GLOVES. If the can goes and you dont have gloves it will cut you, possibly bad.

my website should be up in like 3-4 weeks www.hammarsports.com I'll have lots of free info on how to do a bunch of visually fun feats of strength and how to train, and ofcourse the products that will get you that strong if you train with them.

Pretty good, just really busy, working and starting up my exercise equipment business. I should have some more time in the coming weeks.

It was a field of high grass.

It was cheap beer. I wouldn't do it with like a la fin du monde or something.

This is a quick clip from a promotional DVD I am putting out to promote hand strength products that I am going to be selling next month.

The video clip is of me squeezing a beer can with my hands and making it burst/explode. It's a great party trick/feat of strength.

If anybody wants to buy a training product to get strong hands just pm me and i'll give you an O-Review discount.

You must be a very fearful/brainwashed person...who watches too much news and thinks there is more problems then there is.

If you look at history, during each and every period of time people have said it was the end.... people like to do that. But it wasn't and it isn't.

There have been times much worse than now, and there will be times much worse than now sometime in the future, but there will also be better times. This is the way things work, sometimes things are good, sometimes things are bad, etc.

People can moan and complain about the population all the want but while we have the largest population we've ever had, we also have produced more food than we ever had. Sure at some point something has got to give, and that's why even though we have tons of food here in the USA while some people across the world starve...

Your best bet is to predict a armageddon date that is long enough away that you will be over 80 years old, because odds are you will be dead by then and nobody will be able to call you on just how wrong you were.
