I'm in the market for a new Oakley Watch, and was trying to decide between the Time Tank and another Time Bomb so I went to the closest O-Store today.

While I was there looked at some of the newer styles like the Judge II and I noticed how terrible it is compared to the original Judge(which rocks by the way). What happened? Why does the Judge II and the Jury II look so lame compared to the originals... or is it just me? The originals have like sleek looking hands and faces.

In conclusion I think I'm going to go with a Silver Time Tank.

I am interested in maybe buying a stealth holeshot. Does anyone have any pics of one on thier wrist so I can get an idea of size or can anyone tell me roughly how big they are?
Does the black finish scratch off easily?

The new Judge II is actually a nice watch, unfortunately there is a substantial price increase which will deter alot of potential buyers. I like it, but won't chunk down $800 +/- when I could easily buy a Tank...I also like the hybrid bracelet on the Holeshot with the Unobtanium/Metal links but again, that is a large price hike compared to the regular. I have the blue faced 6 hand and like it alot!! I didn't think I would, but for the price I paid, it was worth the risk/reward. Great all around beater watch and daily wearer like my tanks...Beat on them and they just don't look like it!

Time Bombs on the other hand are classics!!! One of a kind looks and styling but major downside being the ease of scratching virtually any of them and any piece. Polished, forget it. Under long sleeves or a work coat, but not as a casual watch. Stealth, same thing. X Metal holds up better, but all of them have mineral crystals (except the 18k MJ gold one) and they are prone to scratching easy...Double edged sword bro...Good Luck!! Tanks are selling for less than bombs these days, safe investment there.

Hey Ideal...I just bought a stealth holeshot and have worn it for two days...here's my brief review...
the watch face (the chrono version that I have) is wider than a time tank (the part with the buttons is large) but the face is smaller than a tank, if that makes sense. The band is very comfortable...much different that the unob. band on my crush or bullet...much less "sticky", it seems to have a satin finish to it. The black is also different than other Oakley stealth finishes...I don't think it's Ion plated like my timebomb or the judges...but instead it seems to almost be "blued" similar to a gun or knife that is black. It gives it a really cool dull black finish..very "tactical". The finish seems hard as hell to scratch (although I'm not going to go too far out of my way to try!, lol). All in all, I really like it, it's a very nice compliment to my time tank...i wear this one daily at work (i'm a personal trainer and need something that comfortable while i'm active) and wear my tank when going out, etc. Both have gotten compliments!

There are plenty of Judge mark one on ebay right now, must be old stock getting sold on as the new model comes out. There are a fair few GMT plus quite a lot of Blade mark one as well.

You can't go wrong with a Time Bomb (apart from the glass that scratches so easily). Look after it and it'll hold its value very well.

Just make sure you don't buy from a slimy little shit who sends nothing to you and then clears out his paypal account the day before paypal find in your favour. I made that mistake once and will never do it again.

Dude! What is your problem! I'm sorry you live in a country with a corrupt postal system! You even said yourself that you have not received several packages! I sent then god damn watch! There are tons of people on here that I have made transactions with, and ALL of them have been fine!

Did I say I was speaking about you? Did you clear out your paypal account the day before paypal found in my favour so tthat there was no money to be recovered for me? Did you provide an insurance number to paypal showing you had insurance on the package and then return none of the cash you got from that insurance to me?

I was simply telling people to be careful who they deal with. If I want to talk about you, I will. I didn't because I don't.

I would go with a Time Bomb. It is by far my favorite watch ever and you can find them for pretty reasonable prices nowadays. Plus, you never have to worry about replacing the battery which is a huge plus in my opinion. If you want a more "durable" watch or in other words a watch that you won't have to worry as much about scratching up, I would go with a GMT because it just a damn cool watch. Those on the other hand are a bit harder to find and might cost a little more than the TB. In terms of more current watches, I really like the new metal/Unobtainium banded Holeshot. Of course the Time Tank is stunning, but if you have small wrists or like smaller watches, this is definitely not the watch you want. Hope this helps. Let us know what you end up getting and good luck.
