Funny..actually its mutual.. As I look ahead at a not so great retirement plan that kicks in about 19 years or so...I want to eliminate debt ..also I am maxed out...Oakley hasnt turned out product I have really liked for 4 years while raising prices...rather than whine abt how they have totally headed for big fashion oriented glasses Its better to get out... after Scalpel disappointment I dont see them ever making someting like SJII, MD-bigger styles that fit me well or Unknown and Minute again..I'll hang on to my main pairs to wear but my time on ebay and O site is down to almost never for me...
PS: Just got a look at Batwolf...I am glad people like it but does it seem to anyone that this REALLY is just Hijinx/Antix redone on another model.. with respect to all, I don't think they knocked themselves out on this one in R & D Dept.

Those are very nice I cant wait to see the A's one...I was/am an Oakland fan but married a NY girl 10 years ago and am a big Yankee fan too..also being an A's fan when I grew up in MA in 70's made me Yankee fan by default for not loving Sox... I'd love to see how they look...too bad u were not around to see A's in early 70's an amazing team also infamous for locker room brawls as well...now Wrentham Vault(in MA) will probably never speak to me again..nice pick ups

Thanks I stand better-informed..One thing I did notice at bookstores was they are reissuing Warreen B/W mags like Creepy and Eerie in hardcover...I'll freely admit when/if I get the $ I'd like to revisit them and I am 47...I understand better what u say...sometimes I hate to see kids grow up so fast though...when I saw the Family Guy for first time- parts were really funny but I was appalled it is run at 6 pm here as its not a kid's show. Thanks I understand better Gosh i didnt mean to start a war ..at first I thought the clique comments were for me and was puzzled...even my real clique has up and moved away here...I put myself in debt like a fool with Oakley's and some gifts for wife and am stunned at comic prices..I never got an allowance as a kid Had to work in neighbors' yard so never had hardly any money til real work much later Thats the pitfalls of a family of educators..really no bad feelings People can get what they want..a friend of mine has 5000 dvd's..every collectible alien/terminator head case etc ever made...that's his thing I never judge..it was more shock and awe when I visited...I think he bought graphic novels too althoughnot sure ...He's 36 years old Nothing wrong with that I am not condescending unless married guys like me are ignoring wives for collecting stuff then it mystifies me...
PS: I remember Plastic Man...he ought to switch to Oakleys!
I really hated to see people get so worked up over It I shouldnt have said what I did but then took on a life of its own I dont even understand beyond comics and into personalities...thank u for an informative post on the topic.

Let's get back to fun here and pics we haven't seen What will the Stpl Holbrook look like?

thats interesting I guess just the people I know in that age bracket aren;t amongst them,,,,besides that u all know more than me...I can;t imagine at 30-my 4th year of teaching17 years ago buying comics,,,but its cool if its a hobby for some...so what do 10-12 year olds buy instead if the market is aimed at adults... probably should move and continue this in Off Topic Sorry moderators

I agree...also my using the word "the" was out of line.."agree" also and come to think of it -"I" should be banned from here..not me but the word itself. oh man I liked the Canteens I am alone here on Gilligan's Island and in the title role , I think

Wow didnt mean to start bad feelings Comics are great...I apologize..again...I am often ignorant of trends I use the internet only a little...mostly buying Oakley and clothes and am not up on TV/Movies/Comics whatever...no one argue over "13 yr old" comment I retract for eternity...the world has bigger things to deal with but when I get jumped on for not saying I am crazy abt new styles..I am not being a hater...just so happens O seems slanted that way at the moment and seems to coincide with Lux takeover..it's just "me"- my opinion thats all..I think the new styles are great on Marcel or Phil I just am thankful for Mr Potato Head! The Pic that started it all just looked really silly to me..thats all..one old man's opinion

I certainly wasnt knocking the artists ...or people that put them out or sell them.I know DC and Marvel are making tons..I dont follow movies so have no idea there- this was talking about target age of print comics... I had tons as a kid sold them when I was 12 which if I hadnt ..well I probably would have lots of $ now OT sorry ... the pictures just looked funny to me and other members on here..no harm intended
