I'm new here, courtesy of tunafishmilkshake's introduction. As a kid, I was already intrigued by the Oakleys worn by triathletes, probably Eye Shades and the earliest M-Frame Mumbos. Obviously, couldn't afford back then. Got my first pair of Oakleys in Dec 2004, Chain 4.0 prescription, and fell in love with the grip of the UnOb on my oily skin.Stayed that way till Sep 2007, when I got a pair of Straight Stem Black Radars, and then the explosion happened, much like Over-the-Top smoke! I'm not much of a photographer, but will gradually try to capture my collection on pics to share with everyone.

Even trade? You're kidding, right?

With or without original bag and box.
Lightly used is fine.
For my own use.
Thanks.

Can help but agree with Francois.
The Bob Heads were plain black precisely to highlight the Oakleys they would wear, not steal the show.

Pretty bad scratches, I'd say, on the lenses.

Got both the black and the bronze, but the black isn't mint, and neither has boxes.

It was a pleasure meeting you Stanley. - Benjamin

Ditto, Ben. And you look quite different from your current avatar.

That surfboard idea was brilliant. Awesome pieces on it too. - Dann

I'm sure I'm not the only one to echo that comment.
And the blue "waves" beneath the board too.

I was surprised they picked the Frisco store instead of the more upscale NorthPark store in Dallas itself. Perhaps it's a tad closer for the OKC folks. - ichibandidisan

Northpark store is too small. - Defenderoftheo

That makes sense too. I hadn't noticed the disparity in floor space between the 2 stores.

Ruben,t'was great chatting about your life adventures beyond Oakley stuff, which I will treasure. When I retire from collecting, I now know who I can pass my best pieces on to, if my daughter doesn't pick up the hobby.

The Moon might've been from Benjamin's table, and I saw a persimmon 0.6 as well. The crowd wasn't much of a collectors crowd, so I suppose mostly people like us know what specific pieces signify. But I got several appreciative comments, which were nice. And I got everything back in my displays before the night was out. Awesome.

Aaron York had some, and someone had a Moon, but other than that, overwhelmingly new school.

What ever happened to the Skate Deck Breadbox in red/black?
I'd love to grab one.

Anyone remember the Fruit-based colorways in Summer 2011 that was for the women's line. - Dann

Off the top of my head, I remember these: watermelon, cucumber, cantaloupe.

My eyeshades came via a private trade, razorblades from a Canadian web retailer, then the rest weren't all that tough to find. Back then, that is.

That said, it would be really nice to have the STPL set, but certain ones are just impossible. At least the Eyeshade hit retail.
I had the impression that all 6 of the STPL series hit retail, did they not? And I thought the Eyeshades were the hardest to acquire, at least for me it was.
