Simple question;

Do or do Oakley not make/have made sunglasses for children?

Only thing I can think of was the pocket 5's. Not specifically for kids but very small faces. Don't think they are made anymore but probably still out there in ebay world somewhere.

I'm certain the experts will chime in at some point here for better insight.

I do know XS Fives still are made, but are the directed towards kids?

Im pretty sure they are not?

Or I'm wrong?

Actually I believe Jules is correct, I'm pretty sure the XS Fives were directed at Kids.

I think the Halfpint too, was aimed at the children / youth market. Still see them on ebay from time to time. Some nice combo's too.

But these days Oakley don't make any sunglasses specific aimed towards kids?

I have two pair of XS Fives for my little dude. One got locked into storage when we moved so we had to get another. Bought both new from Oakley in the last year and a half. Even got the strap with one of them. They should be fitting his face nicely now. Don't know because I'm waiting on the second pair to arrive from the States.

Simple answer for to your question though is: edit* I was wrong.

Both of my girls have Half Pints. One lavender/violet, the other Crystal Red/Black. My older one has since graduated to Baby Blue/Black iridium Half Jackets.

Half Pints were for kids, XS Fives, were part of the 'kids' line, but could actually fit adults with smaller heads.

The Half Pint was my little half pint's first pair of Oakleys. He absolutely loved them because of the awesome looking Fire lenses. Now he's big enough to wear regular frames. Last summer we bought him a Minute 2.0. They grow up so fast.

XS Fives are currently produced and marketed towards children. Some adults with smaller heads can wear them.

Decades ago I sent them a note and suggested Kid-O's. They're probably still laughing...

My three kids (ages 7, 4, and 4) wear XS Fives, Half Jackets, Minute 2.0, and Fates for my daughter. For the Minute and the Half Jacket, I just bent the earstems for a better fit.

I am surprised Oakley hasn't at least produced some kids T-shirts. I just made my boys some t-shirts with the Oakley Security logo. Maybe I will pitch the idea of kids tees when I visit in August. LOL

The half pints and xs fives were a test for that market. They did not sell well, no one wanted to drop $70 + on sunglasses that they felt there kids would just break.

Funny thing; I see a lot of ppl. here in Denmark in need of sunglasses for their kids. Most of them are loyal to Oakley and want glasses for their kids, Minute 2.0 is the most sold model here for kids.

We have Fives, but not the XS model, and Asian Fit are not something you can get in Europe, as far as I know.

But I thank you guys very much for the answers.
