Hi all,

I just got a Canon XS and I don't have a bag for it yet. Is there a dedicated camera bag from Oakley? It'd be nice to have one. If not, what do guys use for your slr cameras?

Thanks.

I haven't seen a dedicated camera bag from Oakley, but I'd be up for one too.

I actually carry around my camera in just a regular oakley shoulder bag. I think it was called tactics? I'm not quite sure, but it was on oakleyvault.com a little while ago.

It doesn't provide any protection for the camera (aside from the fabric) so I have to be careful, but it's what I use for day to day use.

No dedicated bag we know of as of yet. I use 2 different bags/cases. I have a Lowepro Primus AW when I am traveling and need everything (tripod, video camera, charger, both lenses, etc), and a Case Logic SLRC-2 case when I just need one lens and minimal space to spare. Both have been great. I have the XSi, so they are basically the same body and this will help.

A suitable oakley camera bag was the next thing I thought of perusing after I got a Canon T1i

Could not find one.
I agree suggestions would be great.

Congrats on the XS.

I don't think there's really any Oakley bag that's good for carrying SLRs. I've used a Goggle Array case once this past summer, but I wouldn't recommend that. It's really limited. Some of us have used the Kitchen Sink, but it's a real hassle when you like switching lenses.

I typically use the Lowepro Nova 170 AW. It's on the upper end of small bags, I think. I don't typically like carrying big camera bags around but at the same time I need the space for at least the body and 2-3 lenses, so the Nova 170 AW offers a good compromise.

I've used my AP Sandbag in the past, but that really only works if you're just using the body and lens. Whenever you need/use more lenses or a flash it gets ugly.

At the moment I'm kind off in love with my Domke F2 camerabag. It's a classic that's still being made, and since I started using it I understand why. So simple, so basic and yet so practical. Open the 'lid' with just two clicks and you can reach all your stuff. It's relatively small but still contains loads of camera stuff. Flexible and what's very attractive to me, it doesn't look all too much like a camera bag.

Fit's all this (+ the little snapshot Fuji J20 used to take these pics + all chargers for both camera's, camcorder and battery charger)

Looks like this

I really don't know if I would trade it if Oakley made a specific camera bag...
