Yo Guys!

I got a problem. My minute machine is dirty! :-p

I work in a store every day and I have contact to customers all day, and just now, 5 minutes ago, one of my customers commented on my watch (he liked it very much) but also told me it was kinda dirty.

I looked into it after he left, and I can see it is a bit dirty between the joints on the armband/whrist-thingie.

My problem is; how do I clean a material like titanium? Do I just dis-asemble the joint and just clean it with a rag or what?

Please help. Thanks.

It's easy to clean - get yourself say an old tooth brush or a soft new one, a little water and a little dishwashing liquid give it a scrub all over (the tooth brush is good since it will get into the tinny places) then wash it all of and presto it will look like new.

I do this all the time, doesn't scratch anything and since the watch is water proof there's no issues there. So get scrubbing.

Ditto on the toothbrush, you could also use a bit of toothpaste instead of the dish soap since it's titanium. Since toothpaste (not gel) has silica in it, it you'll also get a bit minor scratch removal when using toothpaste.

I have an access to an ultrasonic cleaner. I use it to clean the bands, but not the actual watch. Anyone know if the ultrasonic can mess with the internals?

Even for watches cases o_O?!. I'm afraid that ultrasonic waves are bad for internal movements

christ, i really need to re-read some sentances! no its not a good idea to put the watch in with a movement inside it, youd need to take it out first of course, ive practised with a movement inside to see what happens and its been fine, but i wouldnt recommend it, its not hard to take it out though so better to be safe than sorry :)
