Now I did it; I ordered myself a pair of Gascan, Matte Black - Emerald Iridium.

I will try and properly document my "way of customize".

Now I will wait for the glasses to come and when they arrive I will start my first "real" custom project!

I need to make sure Im using the correct kind of paint aswell as I need to make sure the paint itself dont chip when I put in the glasses again.

Im looking foward to this project! :-)

Cheers

you will have all sorts of fun...Mostly frustration trying to figure out how not to paint the hinges so they open and close properly, how to get the lenses in without chipping the orbital paint, and then how to clear. It is certainly not the easiest thing to do, but it is fun playing with colors and figuring it out. Automotive paints are best, and I recommend visiting a paint supply store or airbrush store to see what is available. Good luck, take lots of photos...

No pressure but with a name like The Ostermann Project wich sounds like a good thriller by the late Robert Ludlum, it has to be good.

No pressure...

Unless you already have designs in mind, I think you should toss it out there for the photoshop-inclined of us (not me) to do up some suggestions. Would be pretty cool.

Actually I think it's titeled "The Ostermann Weekend". ^^

Well... I got a lot of sh*t taken back in school due to my middlename. "Ostermann" can be "kinda" translated into "Cheeseman" hehe.

Current udpate; Im still waiting for the arrivaval of the glasses. Im really looking forward to it. As I can read on peoples replys I know its not a walk in the park to customize glasses from scratch, including entire paintjob. But Im really looking foward to it.

Cheers
