Really sorry to hear about that, Matt. If it's any consolation I know how it feels to have something like that happen: about three years ago my house was broken into. I felt just violated. From that point I vowed to never allow that to happen again, and bought an alarm system...

Hopefully you'll be able to find your missing case - or a replacement, as difficult as that may seem.

Really sorry for your loss.
I think Josh may be the chap to help here if it's the CD case, but if it's the graphic CD case you're after let me know.

Must be the season. My TL was broken into on Tuesday. I am now minus a pair of Monster Dogs and Square Wires not to mention a Leatherman multi-tool.

That sucks Matt. I am sure you'll eventually get the case replaced. Might take some patience, but I am quite confident it will pay off in the end. What kind of damage to the car? Sucks man.

Back in 1990, I had my car broken into. They stole a pair of M-Frames and my wallet. In my wallet was an AZ lottery ticket. That weekend, I got four out of six right. So, someone actually stole my winning lottery ticket! I call the lottery office and tell them about it and they said that if I could tell them when and where I bought it they could identify it for me. Sure enough, they got it. We turned the info over to the police. The cops found the "kid" who turned in the ticket but he said he found it. It wasn't a big enough deal to prosecute so it dropped dead. I found out that he was one of the kids hanging out near where the cars were broken into. (I have a few friends who are cops who assisted : ) I caught the kid in a 7-11 one day and had a chat. While I didn't get my $50 from the winning lottery ticket, M-Frame, or wallet back...I did get some satisfaction behind the store and those yutes were never found hanging around our parking lot again.

Cane the thieves!

Awww - that sucks man.

It's the main reason I have hesitated to adorn my truck with O... I have been afraid it would make it a target. Fortunately most people here have no idea what the "X-METAL" license plate means.

Sucks a bunch guys - really sorry to hear it.

I feel for you, and I do have some suggestions.

http://www.tuffyproducts.com/c-4-consoles.aspx

I have just the soft top on my jeep. I leave the doors unlocked. However, everything inside locks. The stereo has its own locking console, the amps have their own as well. My center console locks as does my glovebox. The Jeep can't even start without unlocking one of the consoles and flipping a few switches to start the fuel pump, ignition, and so forth. I'm kind of anal about keeping my stuff. My thoughts are that I'd rather have someone open the door to find out they can't steal anything as opposed to cutting the top or breaking a windows to come to the same conclusion. It sucks having to be over-protective, but I have yet to have anything Oakley taken from the jeep, even when the top is off.

DIdn't see an "Official Stolen Thread"
so I'm going to add to the post here....

Last Christmas I gave my wife a pair of White/ Ruby Froggskins. This past summer, I put Unob earsocks on them to keep them from sliding off her head when she had them up.

Well, I asked her in early Nov. where the glasses where. They were hanging up on the visor of her car on one of those visor sunglasses clips. She said she put them away for the move and that we'd find them after we got settled in. Well, the move happened on 10-31, and the search began in earnest. Missing are her Frogskins and MY Black SIlICON O hat.

We've been through everything and there's no way the guys who helped me move could have stolen them. They were within "eyesight" the entire move.

I pushed on the issue, and it turns out, that she was on campus back in October and forgot to lock the doors to her car. She believes that MY hat (which she appropriates when she wakes up late for class) and the froggies were stolen out of her car. She didn't want to tell me because she knew how much crap she'd get from me for not locking the door to her car.

Arrrgg... she's smart to have told me over the phone while she's in China. I loved those Frogskins. I miss that hat everytime it rains or snows. GARRRRRR!!!

So, if you see anyone wearing White/Ruby Frogskins customized with M Frame Earsocks... tell them I said "HI".... in whatever manner you deem fit.

Damr. It sad to hear you guys loose you presious Oakley's! :-(

Mr. Morris: I have never heard about the case you are referring to. But I can try and look if the European Oakley Market has sonething in familiar on stock?

David Chang; Darn! So sad to hear she lost em'! I have actually seen the Frogskins in the O-Shop located in Denmark. The funny thing is that the prices in Denmark compared to the prices in the US are far away from eachother! Its MUCH more expensive to buy Oakley's in Denmark/Europe.

Please excuse me if my english sucks, its been a while since I used it. :-)

Peace.

Nice gesture Jesper, but I mailed him one the next day. We Co-Pilots stick together HAHA. Hate to hear anyone losing things to sticky fingered bastards who feel it necessary to steal stuff! Karma will catch these people who steal our beloved possessions we all work hard to acquire! Sorry to hear about your hat & shades David...

I have a favorite Oakley hat but unfortunately can't wear it anymore because it's seen better days and won't hold up to too many more wears. If anyone runs across a new old Wool Cap 1.0 hat with the profile skull on the back in black, let me know. I have seen many of the 2.0 without the skull, but that was a different fit even though it was a flex style. The original was actually a Flex-Fit brand hat and just fit better.
