Saw the recent post with the 3 shadow Bobs and the clawbiner, I wanted to see what uses other O-reviewers have come up with for the Icon Clawbiner.

here's what I use it for-

To hang my ipod nano from when I'm listening to tunes in the car. Claw part goes around the rearview mirror stem and the caribiner part holds on to the Ipod Nano case.

You must get the iPod in the face when you're in an exit!

Looks cool though. The more Oakley overwhelming, the better.

Why, I use it to Climb Mount Everest. Sometimes I use it to hang off helicopters to save puppies and kittens stranded on the roof of burning houses.

When I'm not doing that, I use it as a keychain. Sucks as a keychain, but oh well.

It has a use?

I was thinking the same thing. It sure looks nice sitting in a display case, though.

Damn Oak you must've been working out intense lately, to weigh under 50 pounds!

What fighting category is that anyway?

Classic, Oak.

I have spent much time just staring at the damn thing, trying to figure out what to do with it.

Still got nothin'.

Mine has sat in the corner since I bought it. And Dave, it's illegal to hang things from your rear view IN PA.

That's actually a pretty good use for it.

Very inventive. I think I might do the same thing with ours and the AP Leg Holster.

The ipod doesn't go flying when I hit the brakes or take hard turns. The cable connecting it to the head unit keeps it in place. Even if it does go flying- that AP Ipod Nano case has enough padding for it. :D

If I still had my off-road vehicle, it would be great to use as a lean angle indicator.

As for being illegal to hang stuff- must be one of those laws that they only enforce when they want to. Look at all the people who hang mardis gras beads, CD's (my personal favorite), garters, pictures of scantilly clad women, air fresheners, etc. throughout PA. Haven't been ticketed for it yet, but, I guess that depends on the law enforcement officer. I guess have to fix my brake light, as well.
