Josh, I just picked you up a sweet deal on a pair of Costa Del Mar "Polarized!" glasses - only $75 from SAC. I know how much you enjoyed the fuzzy optics of other eyewear. I expect immediate payment and the inclusion of that little gold watch from RC racing. ;)

I think the presentation on the website is great and very compelling. I think the main issue for some people is the inherent conflict of interest. It's like selling a car to a stranger and telling them they don't need another licensed mechanic to look it over because you used to be a mechanic yourself. I think that's why some people in the general public dismissed that article/test in that magazine a while back, even though everyone knows about Oakley's optical quality.

Paul, I am on it...Man, the Costa's ought to be worth all three watches man...HAHA. Oh wait, reality has set it. Might have to add a Kaenon with them to sweeten the deal. I'll get you a confirmation number on that shipment asap!!!

I think that for the people on this site, there is no competition. I only own Oakley glasses and it an utterly absurd thought that I would ever look at another company.

For the unwashed masses that just want fashion sunglasses, any company that makes something similar to Oakley's plastic lines for cheaper is a serious competitor.

You stole the words right out of my mouth...

About 10 years ago I even owned two pairs of N1KE shades. One pair broke (cheap) & the other pair I just never wore anymore - my Oakleys took such precedence. I ended up giving the other pair of N1KE glasses away to a friend. Needless to say, he's no longer my friend. In a way I can't blame him.

Ah, so now I get why those girls were dressed up in those colourful getups. I've only seen low res pics of them and didn't realize they were dressed like that. Makes perfect sense now with a higher res pic.

I can identify with not being able to wear Polarized Oakley lenses..any Polarized lens gives me headache and depth perception problems..this isn't commenting on their quality some people just cant do Polarized...every O store I have been to has heard of at least 1 person this is true for besides me. Maybe its astygmatism (Blind as bat Have contacts) or my color blindness...competitor,,not sure many swear by MJ but I agree they are inferior
