If you haven't seen this glass in person, it is awesome! Similar style to the Frogskin, but with a slight wrap, acetate frame and a little bit smaller. Great color also.

I've seen them yesterday. I like the red one, with Red Iridium?

have not seen that one yet, but the Supreme Frogskin looked good, so hopefully it will look as good.

Got to try on the Jupiter for a while yesterday, and I agree with Phil; what a great pair of sunglasses, suprisingly. The LX didn't seem to fit me right but the other ones did. The 24k pair was incredible. I can't wait for the clear/violet ones to hit. Have a look the next time you're at your OPD.

I just wanted to pull this back up and sing the praise of the Jupiter.
I started with the brick red Jupiter LX and have now found a deep obsession with the entire Jupiter (omatter) collection. Not only are there a great collection of colors there are also a ton of possibilities mixing & matching different frame/lens/icon/hinge combo's. Here are my 4 fav that Oakley did not give us =)

Polished black frame - violet lens, Icon & hinge

Matte black frame - 24K lens, Icon & hinge

Polished white frame - grey lens, polished black Icon & hinge

Polished clear frame - black iridium lens, matte black Icon & hinge

I have 3 now as well since that first post above: Brick Red LX, Crystal Red and Crystal Clear regular. The LX are great, but the acetate and large hinges makes them tight. The O-Matter frames are much more forgiving and have a nice amount of flex. Knowing I swapped around Montefrios, I could def see me swapping around these, Make Polished Black/Violet. I am aching to see one proposed release with a blue frame.

I checked out a few various pairs of these in both versions and even though they are probably a great beach or skater style, and looked good on my face, they really don't fit my usable style. I already get weird stares walking from my car to my work building when I accidentally leave one of my non-conservative styles in my car from the weekend. :p

Phil; awesome review. Very detailed and insightful.

I love those custom swaps there, Paul. Especially the first two pairs. That Matte and 24K look sick! And As much as I love the Polished/Violet, I know Dawn would totally flip over it!

I tried on the Jupiter; haven't seen an LX in my area yet. I liked the Jupiter, but feel like it might be just a little too large. Hopefully the LX is better.
