A trip around the world is going to take me to the cities below. I could use some advice on what to do or see when I'm there.

* San Fransisco
* Sydney
* Adelaide
* Darwin
* Auckland
* Kuala Lumpur

I have traveld to quite a few different countries. I would always recomend trying what ever the local dish is there. Do not go to some crap shack on peir 39 for instance in San Fran. Ask the locals where they go and try the local specialty. Sometimes there are many in each big city,in the different districts or neighborhoods.

Not realy. Adelaide was founded in 1836 and the history of Auckland goes way back to the early 14th century.

You have to get a chicken cheeseburger at KD Burgers on Manukau Road in Auckland.

In Sydney, head to Bondi Junction, there's an O-Store in the main shopping centre there...

San Fran: leave the city and hike the hills on the other side of the Golden Gate. There was a place that sold the best clam chowder I've ever had, but last time I went there, it turned into a Hooters.

George (O-AFX) would probably have a good idea for what's hot in The City (san francisco). There are several knowledgable members up there who could point you in the right directions..You really should fly into Orange County at John Wayne and go to HQ...Just about 30 minutes south (airtime), and of course your Oakley Mecca!!

Hah, you'd think, but all is well now since they are no longer there, and Coddington Brewery can take the reign.

well if you like to drink, and you like to run, when you are in malaysia you should hook up with the hash house harriers. they are a drinking group with a running problem, and thats where this global group started. another benefit is since its all over the world, if you are a hasher you automatically have friends and somebody to show you around where ever you go. hell, there is even a group in Iraq

I'm in SF for only 4 - 5 days and I've been to Oakley Mekka (can I say that, nowadays?) in 2004.

The only thing that keeps me from heading down to Fargo is the long lines for the rides.
