It's official this is the end for Landis I guarantee it. Nobody wants to be associated with a cheater.

Right, but you left out "they were tired of doped up Americans winning their race." (Armstrong excluded of course, I don't think he was but a lot of them were.)

Word. Lets compare the amount of convicted Euros with American Cyclists. The one hope I have is that the old school systematic doping in cycling which is really no different or worse than in baseball, football, track & field will be changing.

The sad thing is that retesting and appeals should happen quickly & then punishment be handed down fast; not this joke with Landis and possibly this years winner Contador and the
almost winner the Chicken-Rasmssen.

Hoping for a return to cleaner sport,

I agree with Ranger.

The prevalence of doping in sports is so high that people think that they need to dope just to compete, making the trend continue. Whatever happened to hard work and deication?

Hard work and dedication are no match for unnatural enhancement. This day and age unfortunately there are far more cheaters that make it to the top than honest people. That goes for sports, business, and everyday life. Just look at all the corruption ala Enron and more recently mortgage scammers that take advantage of lower income people putting them in a mortgage they can't afford.
