I saw a video on Ebaumsworld last week where a guy was showing how to go from one floor to another without stopping for the other floors.

I decided to try it at the hotel I am staying and at the hotel I work, it works ! And it should on most of them, pretty usefull in a hotel or big office building.

Just hold the closing door button and the button for the floor you want to go for about 4-5 seconds at the same time, et voila.

The elevator should also travel faster between floors,

Just dont try this in an Hospital or something !

hahahaha Im so gonna do that now eric. I will be known here for that. I always go on elevators lol!! People are gonna see the elevator car pass the floors they wanna go to :-D

That is cool! I'm definately going to try that, nothing is more annoying than stopping at every other floor and standing in a closet-sized space with 15 other people.

Well in Maui we have no need to, there aren't many buildings over 3 stories. LOL

So? What's the update, anybody tried it already???

Lets say you get in the elevator and before you can press a floor button, someone else calls for it on the 12th and you want to go to the 20th;

Just press the closing doors and the 20th floor button for 4-5 seconds and it will go on the 20th floor, bypassing the 12th.

I use it everyday at my work place.

there is a list of funny things to do in an elevator thats floating around the net. it won't make the thing go faster, but it may bring a laugh to your day
