They bend as most metals do. A few years back there was a romeo on ebay that had been run over. It was all mangled. Someone here grabbed it and used the stems to make a hammer Mars.

I was hoping you were gonna say that he shaped the mangle xmetal frame back! ehehe

Anyway, If you bend them and try to bend it back.. will it break like most metals do? hehe

There are bad batches of X-Metal out there too that have really high hardness and barely any tensility. X-Metal is NOT a hard metal! I've seen it snap on Juliets, Romeo 2, and Mars!

Wasn't there somebody who went to public and offered 10GBP for the one who can break/bend them?, think the post has to be 2years old or even more

but it could be possible that my bad appreciation could be blamed for wrong thinking

From experience of a few KMA (Royal Millitary Accademy) students here in Holland, a car didn't do much damage, but a tank was way too havy! Lenses didn't break, though!

Wouldn't be surprised that the lens stood up to a tank considering they have to pass the Spike Test. A tank would've just spread the force over a wider area.
