Jim has been using macs for a long time, I really wouldn't be surprised if apple and Oakley had some kind of special partnership come up for something. I've heard on more than one occasion that Steve Woz loves the Razrwire and actually uses two ear pieces on one frame. I have also seen on more than one occasion that Phil Shiller, Apple's VP in Marketing wear a button down shirt or a basic polo. Anther interesting tidbit would be to see Apple use a picture of Juliets in a demo for their motion graphics program, Motion.

As for Apple and Red ....it's a union that was bound to happen, the leader in Digital editing and the new leader in Digital imagery. They're both at the cutting edge of their fields how could they not collaborate.

it doesn't look like the diamond version, just te regular black face one. i could be wrong.. you can see it on the red website.

It's the regular version, only it's the dial from the black leather bracelet (full black) with the Ti band. The diamond-encrusted version is much more stunning, trust me !

Read this funny lil number about Jim addressing proper viewing of the Red 4K footage:

The best part of the screening was Jim's speech before it started about recording during the screening: "I would appreciate that both our work and Peter Jackson's work aren't viewed on YouTube so in light of that, if we see a cell phone pop up during the screening we will wait until afterwards then we will take you, beat the shit out of you, and break the device in half. Enjoy the screening!"

I see now, spoke a little too soon, the combo does look really good though.
