I found these on ebay--They look kinda like rootbeer. Couldn't find them on O.com. You guys seen these? Are they legit? or just rootbeer?

Its a shame; Tungsten alone sounded like such a cool name. And we get, some brownish/grey looking lense...tsk tsk. Hopefully the Flak Jacket will have some better options!

Can't be that far from the ones online :

You can always shoot oakley.com a quick e-mail - thats what I do. Of course, it may take a while, a day or two at the most.

I've only ever seen it in the OCE cases in OStores. It may be exclu to that program. I hadn;t seen it with Tungsten though. Sure it just isn't Ti Ir?

Don't know how he/she could make that mistake as Ti lenses have "Titanium" etched right there on the left lens.

No, it's real. It's a new factory colorway, not just for OCP.

Yeah, like I said, i saw it in a store yesterday. Its a general release colorway. Why dont you just call up direct sales and order it or get the SKU man?

I like the lens a lot, it's like dark bronze with a little amber black polar. Mixed in. It may replace vr28 pol as my favorite lens.

Part number:

Standard:12-896
XLJ:12-897

Does anyone know what happened to OPD Exclusives, by the way?

They still do them. The Olive Canteen was a recent one.

Yeah, but its avalible on-line - a couple years back, if you can recall, the OPD Exclusives were just that. You couldn't buy them on line. You had to drive to your nearest Premium Dealer, and buy it there. I miss those days, all sorts of new frame/lens set-ups not avalible to the on-line buyer.

Some of these, for instance, have been around for quite awhile now; excluding a couple new ones:

We got them in the o-store yesterday. They look ok, fairly bland looking but will be a good use vs. style color set up.

You could buy them at oakley.com too a well as OPD's.

I could've sworn that it was that you could only buy certain OPD Exclusives at OPD's - and even remember some pop up OPD sign next to the purchase button. But of course that was a couple years back...? Maybe my minds just blown :P

In the very begining of OPDs the exclus were only available in store. We're talking like 5 years ago.

We got them at work today. Exact same base as my Ti Hatchet lenses. Not as shiny from the front though.

I think your Hatchet lenses might be a weird batch. All the Ti lenses I compared them to yesterday were more brown and less yellowish-amberish.

It looks like Ti mixed with Amber Black, as someone said up top.

Pretty boring, although I dig the brown smoke frame (until it occurs to me that there are already FOUR brown Bottlecap colorways...
