What is the difference between the regular Gascan and the Asian fit Gascan? Curios cuz I want the olive asian fits but don't like the gradient lense and need to know if replacement lenses will fit them?

The lenses are the same to my knowledge, the difference is in the nosebomb, so the interior of the frame, but I'm pretty sure the lenses should be identical.

I could be wrong. I could be right. Take a gamble. :P

The lenses should be the same only nosebombs are different, you are right. For European/American faces not able to fit, because they were made extremly small so that the maybe the half lens will shade your eyes. maybe bong knows more

GC's don't have nosebombs. I think the frame is actually molded different. I will have to check on that though.

Must be for frames with no unobtainium.

I'm sure the lenses are the same. They probably just extend and/or thicken the nose piece a bit.

I don't know, I remember a long time ago, the dude at Tokyo HQ compared an AF O-matter frame to a normal one and the AF had a much wider arc, completely different shape. That was so long ago I can't remember which model it was. I am going to email them and find out for certain what the big difference is. I'll post their reply here asap.

The nosepiece extends further to the inside and the frame is wider and flatter.

Okey I went ahead and tried to swap lens on a regular fit Gascan to an asian fit.

The answer is "NO" you cannot swap them. The regular fit lenses are WIDER than the asian fit.

Wow, didnt expect that at all based on previous experience with the Splice and Unknown. I guess thats why it took so long to release them.

Splice and Unknown are the same as the regular fit, just with bigger nosebombs.

Now that is NICE - that means that my Gold Clear GC / Thump 2 lenses are really Samples 8). Ok, I don't really like them, Titanium I. is much better. But it still feels great. Sorry for the show off...

Thanx for the input all. Since they don't fit I guesss I will just have to deal with the gradient lenses because the frames are wayy too cool to pass up in Olive.

They can order 'em for you. 50% deposit unless they're in stock at another O-store, though.
