Yeah, the last couple of episodes were pretty brutal.

I agree with Oak. I'm on Episode 8 of The Punisher and I'm close to saying I love it. Might be my favorite series so far.

Although Ray-Ban doesn't really "say" Frank Castle like a pair of O's would though.

So Netflix surprised everyone and got the rights to the third Cloverfield movie, The Cloverfield Paradox, and put it out yesterday night. It doesn’t seem like a critical hit with anyone:

https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_cloverfield_paradox

I enjoyed it, however. Nothing especially unique about it compared to other space thriller movies, but I found it good enough to watch again if the mood strikes. Hopefully there will be a fourth in the series. The first three have trace connections to each other but nothing substantial such that we learn what the first movie’s secrets actually are and how they connect with all these movies. It’s time to get on with it.

There was no Alternate Reality Game for this one, but from the few other people I've talked to, they've loved the fact that the hinted trailer and actual movie were on the same night. Was something different. I'll have to check out the first one finally, but 10 Cloverfield Lane was great.

Apparently there will be a fourth movie in the Cloverfield series, Overlord coming to theatres in October.

I just discovered The Toys That Made US on Netflix. A wonderful series about the background and history of our most beloved toy lines. The He Man episode was hilarious:

It certainly seems that way. Larusso definitely looks like a bit of a jerk especially in the most recent trailer.

Started on season 2 of The Standups on Netflix:

Kyle Kinane‘s material on the KKK is gold. In fact, his whole set was excellent.

The new 4 episodes are now on Netflix. Star Trek, Transformers, Lego and Hello Kitty are the focus. I sure hope there will be more seasons. I need some TMNT, Robotech and M.A.S.K shows (but will likely end up with Care Bears, Cabbage Patch, Trolls and Beanie Babies instead).

Slap yo mama! Did you say M.A.S.K. and Robotech!?! I loved those growing up! I’d kick my sisters ass for messing with my 57 Chevy Hurricane:D

New trailer for Iron Fist season 2 on Netflix. While I didn’t think season 1 was as bad as the critics say, it didn’t live up to potential. Hopefully this season brings better fight scenes:

Still trying to finish Luke Cage Episode 1 after several attempts. Isn't bad, I just ended up tired at night, and it's so low key.

First thing I did this morning was watch the “one shot” hallway fight scene from Daredevil season 3, episode 4. I haven't watched anything else from the season yet other than that. No spoilers, but I will say it is a 10 minute scene. Fight choreography was weak compared to the one from S1. Was a step down from the one from S2 as well. They made a lot of concessions in terms of action and movement to make it authentically one long take (as opposed to the other seasons that used cuts), but they did a phenomenal job with what they had. The amount of coordination with everyone is probably staggering.
