Thought I might start this I recently got into watching the 2003 TV Show "Dead Like Me" right know im only on Episode 4 Seaseon 1 any OR Member like this show? or is it just me becuase im Morbid to be a Grim Reaper LOL.
Dead like me was one of my favorite shows. For awhile it was the only reason I had Showtime then Penn & Teller came on & Family Business so it was more worthwhile. I thought they weren't making new episodes or are they still? Sci-fi channel is replaying them but George's character doesn't have quite the bite on basic cable.
Been watching Extreme Collectors on Slice, and what a great show it is. Unlike Collection Intervention, it actually celebrates not only big collections but weird ones as well (Snow globes, hats, washing machines, etc.). The host obviously over valuates collections, but that doesn't detract from the show. I sure that if one of you decide to call in and offer your collection, the show will pay you a visit and will put you on TV.
I feel like when non-collectors see my office, they are impressed, but I don't find my setup overwhelming. Maybe because I see it every day or it's not overflowing all over my house.
Hi fellow collectors! Since I don't spend much time on the forums, I don't know if this is the right place to post an interesting "find" I've watched a few days ago. There's a TV Show called "Beverly Hills Pawn" and on the Episode 1 from 3rd season, there's a guy who sells the James Marsden's Juliet from the X-Men movie for US$2500. The pawn shop name's "Dina Collection". I didn't had time to record that show, but if anyone of you have the chance to get that episode, would be nice to watch. All the Best, David
Interesting find. Did he have a certificate with it. I'm wondering if there were several made for each movie, since the details behind the screen-worn pairs seems to be a mystery. Except for one of the Penny's, which is safely in Foothill....somewhere.
Pretty cool, but that looks like as normal Ruby Juliet with one of the chase cards from the movie's licensed card set. I sure hope the buyer didn't pay $2k for it.
First shots of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil for the Netflix series. Not sure how what to think about the P3 style sunglasses on him, but it's coming back into fashion. For now, I think I like the Ray-ban from the Ben Affleck movie more.
Finished Daredevil. Surprisingly fantastic. Great fight scenes, well acted, very slick editing at times and, as expected, very different/darker than the rest of the Marvel Universe. Can't wait for the second season, but who knows when that will be. Some say they'd have to cycle through the rest of the Marvel/Netflix shows before that happens, but I hope not. Highly recommended.
