Hi!
I'm fairly new here. Haven't posted anything yet, but reading a lot what you guys talk about, I thought to join the discussion.

I thought I would start of by asking you guys what kind of Juliet frame would look cool with the G26 lens... I have a friend working at an optometrist, so he would be able to cut the lenses for me. Now I just need to choose the frame.

Still doubting between Plasma and X-metal.

X-metal! It just has that armylook going on, perfect for a shooting lense!

As anyone actually made this combo already?
If so, what kind of M frame lens do you need? Heater or Strike?

Welcome to the site ! I think either plasma or polished will look amazing with those lens.

I heard that they were more green on the strike lens then the later lens they made on the M frame.

In any case, you should ask frankie4fingers, he just did an amazing job with G26 on a Pearl Monster Dog frame, you can see it in page 26 of the PW thread.

I tried visualising it for myself:

X-metal:

Polished:

These would just look awesome. Much better green then the Emerald. Now I see why some of you would choose Polished.

Both of those are awesome!! A bonus for the polished since it has hammered earstems :) And yes they look better than emerald lenses, except that they dont hide the eyes very well (-_-)

I'm going for carbon. I really want some g26 lenses for the x-metal... is there some space on the m-frame lense?

nah it's not mine

i couldn't justify spending 100+ on a pair of lense that i would never wear

but it definitely looks stunning tho

here is something I built to be similar, yet wearable daily....It is an X Metal w/Ichiro Em. Slate. Not quite a G26, but hey, it works, almost.

Neat combo Josh, but there's just something about those G26 lenses that's funky as heck! Why can't Oakley just put em in more frames???

Because they serve a purpose. Not many people will spend $300 on a pair of glasses they only bring to the shooting range.

Yeah Nice pic.. remind me, what exactly makes G26 so impractical for day-to-day use?

Changes colors. Oakley doesn't want you to drive in them b/c you might not recognize things like traffic lights properly.
