There was this story about a fireman who's juliets got lost in a house fire. during the cleanup the frames stayed intact. Oakley offered to give the guy a brand new pair, but he wanted to use the same frame because of what it went through, so Oakley replaced the lenses and rubber on the the frame and the damn thing looked brand new! It was amazing
Well they did have a big thing in the newspaper about the story, and then there was a subsequent story about shrapnal from a bomb hitting a soldier in the face and his Juliets stayed on and it saved his right eye. And no kidding the frame stayed perfect. You cant even try to scratch this frame. How true are these stories and do u guys have links to these stories? Was it in the news? I know Dann was in the news ;)
i think metal frames on your face would be more dangerous anyway in case something were to happen, x metal is very hard and an explosion close by your face could push that frame in your skin or possible do more damage than a plastic or "O" matter frameI think if you close enough to an explosion to push the frame into your face, that would be the least of your worries.
but there is no doubt that the lenses would protect
