Congrats Paul!!

Can someone explain to me what the deal is with the boxes and how the TT is actually packed with them again? Are there 3 different boxes?

wow, that is a nice watch. I wear a Seiko Sportura Kenetic with clear back and I got it online at a real good price. Its all scratched up now. I also have a Rolex Submariner that was given to me as a gift from my whole family when I graduated college. I never wear it. Are you gonna be paranoid with your new TT?

I was told £900 for the metal strap and £800 for the leather. I would most definitley pay the extra £100 and get the metal strap!

The box thing: The TT is shipped in one box ... and the display box/case is shipped in another box.

The display box has a push-button lock, coin embedded in the top and the inner compartment is all white.

Nothing is too sacred to me ... if I buy it, I wear it. It will get some level of scratches from wear, but that's just the way life is. :)

Thanks Adam! I agree with you about the strap - and the price is just about what I thought it would be.

Yes, my wallet owes my a great deal of thanks...

No, I think it comes with boxes; in fact more than it needs to. In other words the TT is not packaged in the display/keeping box but has it's own 'temporary' box when you buy it.

Also, no engraved serial #'s. At least none that I could spot.

Aww... that's boring... Serials would make each one of them unique!

TT is creating lots of interest in Montreal. Think it's gonna sell a lot, especially in two-three weeks with F-1 Grand Prix coming to town...

Thanks for the box explanation Paul!

I'm still trying to decide whether to get (who knows when I will) the black face or silver face. It's going to be tough because I'll probably never see them in person unless I order one. The like the contrast of the black face with the Ti band, etc. But I also have quite a few O watches with a dark face. So that has me considering the silver face.

I did not even think about that. I have waited almost 2 weeks, I was not wanting to wait another day. Plus todays my Dad's b-day, so I do not think I will forget.
