dagnamit why do Japan get all these great exclusives? how cool does that Ti-Matte Black Wiretap look? i've been thinking about getting a pair of Wiretaps as RX eyeglasses, and i would absolutely love these Matte Black...

i'll probably end up with a pair of Cobalt or Pewter Wiretaps though.

Deep breaths guys. It's quite possible they aren't Japanese exclusives; stuff has been shown on Japanese websites long before it's been available in North America.

Unless Japan has an Oakley factory there, I'm sure quite sure that since all Oakleys (Sunglasses) are manufactured in USA, some may still be in North America, catering to the Asian minority. Even WBC juliets can be found in other parts of the world, not just Japan. There is still hope!

I thought they were disc. Why do they have screws in the nosepads? And, some Oakley Rx frames are made in Japan.

If they are discontinued, then it is strange. Maybe Wiretaps are huge sellers in Japan? I've seen more people here wearing them as Rx than as sunglasses as well though.

And Racing Jacket has been BTO for a long time. Well over a year at least I'd say.

Racing Jacket has beem BTO since near its inception. But Wiretap is an item for teh PL sale and it's on markdown in the SGH system. Most likely disc as sunnies, maybe not Rx yet.
