So I'm pretty sure we all stumbled across the O-Review by doing some random google search, because just searching Oakley doesn't bring it up anywhere near the beginning. Where my curiousity lies in how much this site has affected your life. I for one know that my desire for the O has increased exponentially since getting on here. Being able to see everything available, past present and future, has only left me wanting more.

The ultimate question, since you've found this site, how much has your collection grown? How much have you spent that you wouldn't have? What else has changed because of Dann's work?

Truth be told, Dann ruined my life and I am weighing my legal options!

Seriously, this site has been a Godsend and a curse at the same time. My collection grew from 23 pairs to 70 including 40 X-Metals. This would not have happened had I not caught a members auction on Ebay advertising this site. I guess I could blame that member as well as Dann, but it has definitely taken a slight 'illness' and turned it into a full blown epidemic.

Cheers to Dann and all the mods/admin who put so many hours into building this site into what it is. And I'm not talking about the forum here, all the work and detail that went into cataloguing every single piece of Oakley product - that is true dedication. Meeting fellow Oakley collectors is probably my favorite thing though.

I was doing some research about Amber black lens when I found this site.At the time I probably have 40 pairs.I'm only a member here 5 months and my collection..... well never mind.

I dont like wearing watch and yet I ended up buying 2.My wife bought me a Swiss Army watch back in Dec.94 (our first christmas after we got married) and my O watch has more wear time than the one she gave me.

So yeah.. this site influenced me just a tad bit.

I was vaguely interested in buying a keyring, when LEX7 spilled the beans on this site. Now a divorce later, kids disowning me, house reposetion. having to work 800 hrs a week and never being able to sleep due to the constant postman's knock. I trawl ebay for little electric rotating devices to stick in a cabinet to display watches. Very strange. And yes indeed, thanks to all who have contributed to make this site the first port of call daily.

Cheers to Dann and all the mods/admin who put so many hours into building this site into what it is. Went from 6 to 82 myself, so I'm not immune. As I've stated before, this all came about for a need to see all the colorways without browsing Oakley's site, especially since models once discontinued, fade away never to be seen again. But now look how its grown.

And heed Rick's advice, there's more to the site than this silly forum.

Over the Years my fasication with Oakley was always there, Though i was very much against the glasses for some reason, (I felt that after some bad experiences that Glass lenses where always the best option.) But after buying a great deal of Apparel, footwear, Accesories and other stuff, my collection was growing. Then after a visit to HQ I decided to give the Glasses another Go and the rest they say is History.
My collection is very vast in my view and I view Oakley as a total brand rather then a sunglasses manufactuer.
I was keen to buy Oakley prior to finding this site but since then i Only choose Oakley. I'll only buy another brand if Oakley doesn't make it. I have gone from a total of about 30 total pieces to over 160...will it end, only if Oakley ends.

If Oakley ended today, I'd still never run out of things to buy.

my "addiction" was already there , i started to visit this site after a customer showed me it.

i already had some 60 to 70 glasses and lots of apparel/footwear/accessories , but to share it with fellow fanatics makes it even more fun.

i love the catalogue/database , it helps me out quit some times

Like many others, I was just a lonely Oakley fanatic before stumbling along this site. Buying Oaklye eyewear for about 12 years got me up to 40 pairs before finding o-review. About 1 year after o-review, I've doubled that eyewear count.

It was Fred who pointed out this site to me. I'm still trying to forgive him for the time and money it has cost me since.
Before O Review I had a few Oakleys and a handful of tee's. Now, I have about 25 Oakleys, some 14 pairs of shoes and tons of tees and other aparel. I go head to toe Oakley almost daily.
Fred, next time you wanna share something with me, pull your wallet and Dann, next time you have some time left, pick up sports! :-)
I do like it uphere though!

I started with a love for Oakley then a few good opportunities lead to a small collection. I chilled for about 3 years at 17 pairs adding one hear & there. Then I got obcessed with finding a 0.3 but I didn't know the model name other than Zero. I tried everything to search...Zero holes, Zero vents, Zero drilled. I googled Oakley Collectors & clicked on a very unpretentious sounding site called the Oakley Review. I was instantly inhabited by it's evil & I've never been happier. That was 1.6 years ago. I'm member #59 My collection has grown by 30 pairs & I've made tons of new friends. A very heart-felt thanks to Dann & the mods, you guys put the "O" in hOme!

I found this site thanks to a link in an ebay auction. At the time I joined I had a pair of 24K X-Metal XX's which needed a new frame and lenses. Some X-Metal Juliets with gold which needed new lenses and frame tune up. Some Plasma/Fire Juliets which weren't as bad as the X-Metals but needed the same. Some Pearl/Fire Mag Switches which were beaten up and 3 pairs of Pro-M Frames which I didn't wear.

Now I have 10 pairs of Juliets, the X-Metal XX's which have been fixed up and are as good as new, some Crosshairs and a pair of Spikes. Essentially my eyewear has doubled, but I've got ride of the M-Frames and replaced those with Juliets.

Its amazing the community we have here. Some think I'm crazy! Little do they know about some of the things you lot have!

Thanks to Dann and all the others who make this community what it is!
