Which one of those is the fake Spike? None of them come close to resembling a Spike in my eyes.

I think it is supposed to be #2 the red colored one. Looks like the general think metal idea of the spike. I like the obviously plactic "m-frame" look alike with the center piece that looks like a mag-m-frame style.

Ah ok. It looks like a fake Gascan to me.

Check out the inside of your Spikes. The earstems look pretty similar.

I did. They look more like Gascans than Spikes.

Those are fake gascans, not fake spikes. They just added rubber to the end of the stems as well.

all ya gotta do is take a walk down Canal St junk, TONS of fake Oaks and some of the fake xMetals I hear come real close as the frames are actually metal I hear but its still "off" looking.

Justin, get a pair of Gascans and put them in the same position as those red fake Gascans. You have to look at the little things. The part where the temples connect to the arms - thats Gascan styling all the way. The earstems are longer top to bottom than a Spike - Gascan again. As Bo said, they've put rubber on the stems for who knows what reason - they're fakes in the end - but still they're fake Gascans I would bet my collection on it.

Although why are we arguing about this? They're fakes! At least we can agree that they deserve to burn! haha

The earstems look more like Spikes. I think the top picture that you guys said were fake Spikes (#2). Those look more like Gascans.

Yeah those are definately fake spikes or they wouldn't have the unobtanium piece. I'd have to bet my whole collection too ford haha, although mine isn't quite as big as yours.

Haha Ford, I have no idea why we're fighting over this. Its true, fakes are fakes and they suck. Its funny that it seems like its 50/50 on Gascans or Spikes. Oh well.

Woah, very good eye on catching that. I got them off ebay. Theyre in mint shape. Is there anything special about them being SS's or anything?

SS just means Sales Sample. It may have been a reps that became part of a stores inventory or they sold it on ebay.

FYI, that fake red Oakley above is a Gascan. In no way does it resemble Spike.

Oh man, I thought we agreed that is was 50/50 Gascan/Spike. Its hard to say that it isnt a spike or a gascan, especially since they look very similar to both and they look just like that pic I posted. Oh well though, no big deal what they are, theyre fake.

I don't think they look anything like the overhead Spike pic. It's so a Gascan. From the hinge to the stem to the fact that it's plastic. It's also thicker than Spike.
