Nice! I'm sure there will be a full 24 hours of gameplay on that TV the day the PS3 is released. Speaking of which, what is the release date for the PS3 anyway? Every site I've seen says "Spring 2006" but no specific date is set.

The release of the PS3 has been moved to November in Japan, and spring 2007 for the USA. They announced it recently. Or at least that is what a large news channel in Los Angeles reported...

Hmmm....the wait for some may be more agonizing than for others. The Toys R Us here has started taking downpayments and pre-purchases. No doubt there were many that jumped at the chance when the preorder flyer was put up last week. They probably got their money back, though.

I paid $1999 and it retails for $2399 and that just dropped from $2699 . I think I did okay since I still got it in a retail shop.

The PS3 is a world wide release in EARLY (Before thanksgiving) November, 2006.

I am glad I am not the only one here who has dropped mega dough in the name of video games lately. I just bought the Samsung HL-R5688W 56 in 1080P DLP(thats a native resolution of 1090 x 1080)! Retail was like $4500 but I was able to get mine for right around $3000 shipped from bestbuyplasma.com. I have been playing my xbox 360 on it for a week now, and it is kinda interfering with my school work; well lets be honest, I didn't go to school yesterday and don't plan on going today, but I have to go tomarrow because I have a test in Human Anatomy. By the way, I keep calling EB Games in order to be first on the list for the PS3 pre-order but so far no one can give me a date as to when I can do so. I know, like you mentioned it comes out in Nov, but I think the problem is there has not been a price set for the PS3. Does anybody know when we will be able to pre order?

Toys 'R Us here in Canada has it listed as $499.99 or something with a $50 deposit to reserve one. Comes with the hardware, 2 games and an extra controller.

Freakin sweet guys, to be honest the sole reaon i have that tv is for the ps3. I cant wait.

I am not going to reserve a copy, I will be camping out in front of my local Futureshop and I will nab one the old fashion way. So damn excited.
