Over the weekend I thought I'd be a smartass and wear my Ti Clear Juliets to a friendly card game, the first I've ever done so, I might add. Anyway, even though being a magician I had silky smooth card handling technique and was cheating my ass off with second deals, peeks, bottom deals and stacks, I was still comprehensively thrashed by my co-players. Hell, I even switched in a marked deck to see if my luck would improve and it didn't. It wasn't until some time afterwards i realised my Juliets were showing all the other players my cards and they could call my bluff with total impunity. Anyway, a lesson: never play Poker with Oakleys on.

Most of the players you see on TV ESPN etc are wearing some type of sunglasses. I've seen O's I think, but whatever brand it looks to be a Fire. Maybe that color cuts the relection or Ice would work to.

Thats weird that your Ti Clear lenses showed a reflection.

For sure, you try it. They adopt an almost perfect mirror quality.

I've worn my TiClear Juliets in poker too. Maybe that's why I didn't do so well....

Ti Clear indoors creates the most mirror effect of them all. Fire I imagine wouldn't be much better.

Wear something non-Iridium next time... that might cut down on the mirror effect.

If you ever watch the WSOP, youll see alot of guys wearing O's. But you have to remember though that they never even lift the cards off the table all the way thus not giving anybody a chance to see their cards.

u could also lift ur cards without actually mirroring it through the lens as long as the u move ur eyes more than rather ur whole head.

So, is there a specific lens that can be recommend for card games without having to worry on reflections?

I've been trying out my G30's. The reflection is pretty minimal and Ice Polarized is fantastic plus it works with the new juice marking system I'm using.

Maybe you're too close of a proximity to your other players? on WSOP, most players sit pretty far from each other, plus when you have them on, you should be able to see other people's eyes. i would watch their eyes if i was you :)
