Anybody know if the Riverwalk O-store is affected by this disaster?

if it's close to the river, I imagine it's underwater. talk about a potential looting target.

Yeah....but I would venture that the people looting are more than likely more Nike fans than Oakley fans....it's tough to find a shoe that fits while your family is starving....but they seemed to have managed....

I hate looters (no wonder it rhymes with losers) I'd like to stand in front of the O-Store & sandpaper all the lenses as they ran out!

I just can't get over the way, the people still stuck in New Orleans are carrying on....the reports were getting here in Australia is that it's basically decending into Anarchey! It's a hard enough situation as it is...why do so many have to make it worse.
Some Australians caught there have said that Surviving the Hurricane was nothing compared to surviving in the Skydome.

it is basically a nearly lawless city. the National Guard took way too long to get there, and people are doing whatever they can to survive. Looting is something that happens during these things.

after Hurricane Andrew, the CircleK by my house was looted and burned out. And they didn't have much left anyway.

no... it was not flooded... i am a policeman (and ex- O employee) and I was there for 3 days. I saw the store and all the glass was broken out and it was pretty-well trashed. still had some product in it though like a few golf bags and stuff.

Odd, the golf bag could've held quite a bit of stuff plus then you'd be all set to loot the back 9
