I'd be down for doing it again next summer around the same time. Maybe a week earlier than when we had went so we could be there for the Parking Lot sale.

I think I could save up enough money to go around nov, as long as there is another sale around that time.

For me it would have to wait next summer. It would be fun to go around the time of the sale :)

There was small talk made as far as how many of us we could get together at one time out at HQ while Dann and I were there. As far as how we could get it all together, obviously it would take time and planning. The hotel we used was a business hotel and was fairly empty Memorial Day weekend. They had meeting facilities we could use (if we felt the need to plan anything bigger). We were in walking distance of O and food and even a movie theater. The Spectrum OStore was nearby. And most Hamptonn Inns that I've stayed in before this, for weddings, had always offered so many rooms in a bundle to set aside for special occassions where a group of peolpe will need a few rooms together. What more could you ask for in a 2-3 day trip?

With proper planning I think we could get a good sized group together next May. In fact, I think we have good enough connections here that maybe we could all get invites too!

I agree I think next summer will be best for all of us. It will give us some time to save money up and my wife wants to go as a vacation time.

This will be my first time to CA will it be possable to get all of us good deal as big group hotel? also what about transportation?

I’m definitely in for next summer. I used to live spitting distance from HQ (at the Marine Air station) back in 93, too bad HQ wasn’t there at the time would be nice to visit El Toro again. We should all set a date and make it our first official pilmigrage.

i can't make any promises right now but i'd love to be there for next summer... i'd love to be there this fall if i can swing it!

It sounds like an awesome idea. And picking a "next summer" date allows plenty of time to show the wife how natural this all is.
