Who has these?, and when will they be available to the general public.
I know, I know only OPD (surf, and skate). But lets be serious. I have called at least 40 places in my OPD region, 100 mile radius, and nothing. Most dont even have GasCans, or know the color Grape.
Any info would be helpful. Thanks Oakley faithfuls!!!
Most locations with Gascans at the moment only have the basic Black or Rootbeer colorways that are o.com. And that's if they even have any. Isn;t the official release mid May? Oakley seems to start with 2 or 3 and then they filter the rest through. I've been told by a very reputable source that the Grape is that dark in color that it ends up looking Black anyway. Probably like the Blackberry color used on Haylon and in some RXs.
alhough I am not sure these are for me I did ask about the GC when I called O abt something else and they read off all the colorways and Grape/Grey was 1 ofthem..also they had Polished Black/Black Iridium non Polarized listed-not black "gradient". He said after the first 2 most or all of rest would come June 15th
Only here do I find myself considering getting something that I normally might not really want ... but after reading about it, talking about it, salivating over it ... I actually caught myself thinking about finding that darn grape gascan.
The sickness is one thing, the contageous factor is quite another.
Oogie - do not mistake - this sickness is Highly contagious....not airborne, not through bodily fluids, but through Sight and Sound - i.e. - Seeing Oaks and hearing people speak of them.....a cure??? MUaHahahah....not likeley....
and there must be something wrong with me because I am more excited about finding old XX's in discontinued colorways...not sure how big and square will really look in person...are Gascans about the size of Dogs?

I bet if you told a 1000 people that you were getting the Grape Gascans 99.9% of them wouldn't know what you were talking about. That's what I like about Oakley, They a re a huge company but still have a small, unique quality about them.
I couldn't agree with you more on that. Never thought of it, but that's actually SO TRUE ! Sure there's a lot of dingos out there who just bought them cuz they heard it's good and think it looks good and happen to have a lot of money but don't actually know anything about what's involved in the item...but even then, it's awesome that such a big/evergrowing/everinnovating company still has a very select pool of real fans.
That's an awesome point Feesh....goes back to when I see someone with Oaks's - most are like - "They were a gift" or "I found'em in an airport" ....pisses me off - or I'm like "hey, those are minutes!" and they say "Dunno dude - they just say Oakley on'em...."
Monsterdog 10w40 has been available for a few weeks now, just depends if your local OPD has ordered them, if you want to buy a pair and not just wanting to look at them, get you OPD to order them in for you.
