i saw it a few hours ago!! it premiered here today in indonesia!!! 1000% better than episode 1 and 2 combined!!

Loved it..wife loved it...I know there's bound to be nitpickers but I thought it was excellent

i hope the oompa loompas arent scary in the new willy wonka (which im desperate to see) cos the ones in the orginal scare the crap out of me.

This movie is dark. I liked it but i think it should have been just a bit longer.

Part of me thought it should have been longer too but...maybe its better to leave people wishing that instead of "It'd been better if they cut_________" out..I want to see this again and I havent paid to see a movie twice in years...(I have been too busy buying Oakleys, maybe)

One of the best Star Wars movies ever. I loved this movie. It puts all the remaining pieces into their places. All in all, an excellent movie. I too will be seeing this again.

Lex, the few concept sketches of Burton's I saw for the Oompa Loompas had them looking like goblins. I'm sure they'll be real creepy.

Veering away from Dahl and more towards Tolkien then.

I wonder if the new Oomp's will teach me valuable lessons with catchy little songs like the originals?

According to what I had read, this one is more true to the book than the first film. What's real sad is the screenplay for the first was even written by Dahl and the studio went in, made changes and added most of the songs without consulting him. There were a lot of strings to pull with estate even to get this remade to keep it true to the original material.

I'll find the Burton sketches when I get to my home computer tonight to post them tomorrow.

It'll be nice not to have those aweful musical sequences in the movie. That sort of ruined the first one a bit.

just came back home from seeing SW3... WOW! much better than i expected, puts things in perspective and definitely has redeeming qualities. it utterly blows SW1 and SW2 away. i was so pissed how bad 1 and 2 were, that i paid good money and spent time planning to go see it in the theatres.... i don't mind the effort of seeing SW3, and i will most definitely be seeing it again on the big screen.

i liked SW1 and SW2 alot so does this mean SW3 is gonna be even better for me?
cos from the trailers alone it looks the best by far.
