So it turns out that the bridge for the XX and the Juliet are close enough for the swapping to work. That's awesome.

In that top picture what is the lens labelled next gen. ruby? I guess it's a ruby (duh!) but why next gen?

sorry for the confusion, I didn't know what to call it exactly, It really looks like a fire with no hint of purple. It looks different from a 2nd gen. I guess I could have called it 3rd gen. Each batch that comes is a little different so don't really know

Cal, for touch-up paint, take your frame to a hobby shop and go for a little bottle of Testor's. Get the closest match you can, and a little brush. Don't get the spray cuz it'll never come out smooth.

Thanks Rick, you are not too far behind yourself. I am still missing the 1st gen Titanium Juliet and the copper Penny for my satisfaction.

In the mean time, I have plans of the Carbon Dioxide Juliet as a future project. Combo of Carbon and Titanium. We will see what happens.

TICK, you should put the stars on first, paint it, then peel off the stars to show the original color. Then clear over the whole thing.

I did have a dream that FP gave me a custom Splice, but it was covered in t-shirt glitter paint. Even over the lenses. I could still see through it though. I said thanks even though it was so ugly.

Reviving and old thread here- did the "how to" on this ever get published?

How did you pop out the rivets and re-assemble?

thx!
