I recently purchased one of the aluminum Oakley cups (black with white lettering)Had it for about 3 days, only hand washed and put cold drinks it. Went to pick it up today and the " Oakley O and the word Oakley" smudged off the cup. Rather disappointing. Anyone else had this problem?

Mine has sat in my display since u got it. Did you use any harsh detergent to wash it? That is quite disappointing. Perhaps you can bring it back to the store for an exchange?

Nothing out of the ordinary. Just dawn dish soap and really just on the inside.

This is disappointing, it should take back the store where you bought it and ask to substitute another.

Hmmm. I've used the same cup a few times. No issues yet. I just hand wash and put it away. I've used mine a handful of coffee times and once for cold.

My wife is using the white aluminum container and at the top mouth area there are 2 small spots of missing paint now. She only puts water in it, hand washes them with Dawn dish soap, and is very careful with her Oakley stuff. Not the happiest... Especially for what I paid for them. Will be taking back for sure.

IMHO, the Oakley cups are very disappointing. I love all things Oakley, but these are a far cry from Yeti.

These aren't oakley made per se. It's by a company caled MiiR who just happens to partner with oakley.

I've had the same issue with mine; happened after the first week of use and I hand washed mine as well.

I notified the SM at my Home Bunker that it was doing this and brought it in for them to see and pass word along that this was happening.

The following week they received a notification that this was not an isolated incident, and reached out to me to come by and warranty exchange it.

Bring it back in to the store you purchased it and have them warranty exchange yours. They should be aware of the issue.

Thanks for the responses everybody. I'm about 45 minutes away from my local o store so, at this point I'm just gonna rub it all the way off and buy a decal and put it on there
