...and on the way stopped in Halifax.

Indulge me, here's the boring details:
I went by two SGHs and an OPD. The best thing the first SGH had was Silver / Fire HalfWire XL and some H.I. Blue Half Jacket Lenses XLJ. Yawn.

The other SGH had the polarized WHYs and that was the only treat I saw there. The X-Metals they had look way nicer in person than pictures, though.

As for the OPD, a smattering of stuff. Nice button-down shirts and tees, some winter outerwear, a doublewide and a medecine cabinet. The only shoes on display were the Box Top and Smoke Ring (for $80 and $60 CAN respectively, which is very good). They had one Thump, and that and the paraphernalia/accessories took up at least one tier - aargh. They had the OPD Monster Dog which I think is the nicest Dog overall; if you have the means, I suggest picking one up.

Here's the kicker: NO Whisker, Crosshair, Why 8.2 or even Romeo 2 anywhere. There wasn't even a Hatchet in any of these stores, for crying out loud. I was disappointed in that.

That's the story, thanks for listening.

(OH - I went by another place that had a single tower with 4 Plasma/Gold Half Jackets - weird)

Sounds like my story. I stopped by my OPD a few days ago. I got a lot of info, but there was nothing there to try on.

I've been road tripping to some OPD every weekend int eh last month. Two of my local OPDs are packed with everything minus the new prod just yet. No Crosshair, Why 8.2, etc. They have full compliments of Srtetchline and OPD exclusives though. Is the Monster Dog you speak of, EC, the grey one or Whiskey one? Anyway, they all have Thump and at least one colorway for Romeo 2.0. They all have the some new bags and two have ski clothing. One has shoes.

My SGH has the basic assortment including Polarized 8.x's and Plasma with Fire, Ice, Emerald Juliets and Carbon and X-Metal Juliets. We just received paperwork for new releases for late Feb/March and the 5 pair on the list were the Romeo 2.0, Brown Fade MDog, Carbon Fiber HJ, A polarized 8.0/1 and Raw/Ice Hatchet. Needless to say this shows you how long it takes SGH to get something "new." I expect Crosshair and Dartboard L (anything released now) in May/June as new prod for us. Ridler and Gascan and any mid summer prod to show in August/Sept for SGH.

I did hit up two OPDs where I grew up this weekend and they had nothing better than SGH. A few more color combos on some all in double wides. At least one Hatchet and one Juliet each. They did have the Dark Grey/Ice Minutes (that Ryan said were UK exclusives) and Dark Grey/Ice HJs. Haven't seen them anywhere else though. They had the Midnight/24k HJs that Eddy was looking for still and a few Ducati frames.

Oh right - the Dark Grey / Black Iridium one. Fade frames aren't for me.

That is a nice Dog. I'm still hoping we see the Primer one with Hot Rod piping. FP said they may see production.

That's really bad. We've even got the Crosshair in the UK now, surprised it isn't scattered everywhere in the US.

I'll probably hit up one of my two OPDs this weekend and they may have them now. I was doing one a weekend since the second week of Feb. One of them has to have new prod by now.

So the Dark Grey/Ice Minutes are now widely available and no longer limited editions from Freespirit? That's great news. That combo looks pretty good.

my optician on the corner of Grand and Mott called Manhattan Grand Optical. not much selection (basically the same stuff as SGH), but i was hoping they would get some new stuff soon. i called them two weeks ago requesting them to order some Crosshairs and Whiskers to try on... so far they still have not reveived them yet.

hey tre go, are we the only New Yorkers here?
