Just read this thread, and there are some great write-ups here. Made me think of what I accomplished last year.
The first major thing that took up my time was my bachelors degree and starting my masters. That all went well, so in that sense the year was successful already.
Looking further, another major thing was the building of my new webshop juleye.nl. And then mainly getting the right contacts to be able to get my stock and being able to sell at right prices. The way I work with Cult89. Hopefully this will pay off this summer.
Looking at my collection, I still have goals of pairs to get. However I am not really buying from stores and eBay anymore. This has shifted towards checking the stock that I get in and then buying the glasses from myself to say so. Until now this has worked pretty well, as there are always great surprises in the stock that I get.
So, collecting wise, what did I get? Finally I got myself some pit bosses and have been able to extend my x-metal collection by the Romeo, Romeo 2.0 and some copper and x-metal/ ruby Pennies. Also I have been able to snag some NIB new zeroes. Which are a couple of last years highlights. The Romeo and Pennies did come from some marketplaces though. I had some more additions, but I think these are the real highlights though.
This year, the medusa is still on the list, like it has been every year before. Also, to complete my x-metals I still need to get me a half-x and a mars.
Education and business are good achievements. I think this year will be a little higher than last in terms of pickups, but still a long shot from the earlier days.
