Hi there.

I just discovered that my Time Tank chronograph function does not work anymore.

I wanted to use the chrono a few minutes ago and after two seconds, the seconds hand stopped and is now blocked on the 2 seconds.
I'm shocked O_O

I tried to follow the manual to re-set the seconds hand, without success.

Did this already happen to anyone ?

I guess my only option is to send it to warranty.
But I'm just scared that getting it repaired will cost me what I paid for it at the time.
Or, I know someone who's working in swiss watch industry. But he's more in the automatic watches stuff...

Hey bro,

If it is under a year since you've gotten the watch it should be covered under warantee. If not, I suggest you give cust service a call either way- doesn't hurt to ask! Plus, they always seem to find a way to help in your favor. Heres the number: (800) 403-7449 - Let me know if they were able to help you!

Thank you, Francesco.
I bought it in 2009, so warantee has been over for a long time, now.
But you're right, I'll try to contact Customer Service and see what they propose.

Francois-
Did you ever get your TT fixed? I have the same problem with one of my TT and of course it's my most expensive one. It is driving me crazy.

Thanks.

Hey Robert,
Actually, I just sent my watch to customer service as all hands finally stopped. So this was just a problem of empty battery.
Since it's been replaced, the TT just works perfectly.

Thanks Francois.

Does anyone have any suggestions, I've tried local watch shops, but they don't want to touch it.

I'm afraid to send it to Oakley, for the fact they might lose it and this watch is not easy or cheap to replace.

Thank You

Sounds like it is time for another trip to Foothill Ranch.

but if I left them at walk-in warranty, I would need to pick them up at the same...

That is TWO trips. LOL

I'm shocked local watch shops wouldn't take it. It's a super simple movement that any trained watchmaker could fix.

They may not have squared gaskets.

They were just intimidated by the sheer awesomeness of the design. Plus, people in Michigan are lazy.
