I have an ongoing offer on the "other" forum for Cerakote. While it has been solid and has garnered lots of push, I have felt horrible for not putting the offer here to where it all began. So, with that being said, I will extend an offer to the O-Review that is better! The deal kind of works like this: I have been offering to apply the Cerakote to anyone as basically a swap. You buy the material, I prep and apply it, which it comes in 4oz tester size @ $35, 16oz pint for $70 (which is way better), and larger which is way more than enough. Simple, right? Well, below is a much better deal. Shipping is NOT included in this deal, that is always up to the customer as far as the costs and methods. For this deal to apply, I will REQUIRE messaging via O-Review as to not confuse any other deals. This deal ONLY applies to members here and will NOT apply outside of OR.

Here is how I will break it down:

EYEWEAR ONLY

1) 4oz will get you 1 pair done in the color you supply or any color I have on hand as well. The icons are included in the deal.

2) 16oz will get you 2 pairs done same as above as far as colors and icons

3) 2 16oz bottles will get you 5 pair done and 2 of which I will do a pattern or camo finish on. Your choice. If you want skulls, lettering, etc, or if you want a camo, no sweat.

**NOTE** special requests must be made in advance to sending glasses. I can then say yes or no if it is possible, or viable given time that certain requests may take. FROGSKIN letters will NOT be done in patterns separate from the frame...What that means is, I won't splatter the letters exclusive of a solid frame color, stripe, polka dot, camo, etc. They will be SOLID COLOR only. Take way too much time to try and mask each letter so there will be no overspray on the surrounding frame color. NO EXCEPTIONS.

If you aren't familiar, Cerakote is some seriously tough stuff. No joke. Check out their website at www.cerakote.com for colors and ideas. It is not a CURE ALL for hammered frames, but it certainly can help them and it takes a serious beating. Pricing has been updated today to reflect the updated costs from Cerakote.

can you bake the h series on omatter, colors limited in c series. stuff looks amazing in pics

yes, H series is pretty much the norm for what is used on the O Matter, Most Plastics, Metals, etc. The C Series is strictly for thing like Scopes where optics can't be removed or heated to 180+, Plastics and Woods that can't handle heat, etc.

I want to have you do my Time Tank (Minute Machine) but it has a silver face and all the colors I want I think would clash. Any thoughts on how a silver face would look with OD Green or Matte Black (the exact name of the black escapes me but its in essence carbon black)?

Hard to go wrong with Black and Silver. I may upgrade my TT as well. It's the same one.

As far as that one goes, I would actually do it in the Graphite Black (satin) and do the accents in Satin Aluminum or even the Titanium color. Will match the face pretty well and maintain a killer look. If considering the OD Green, I would do that one with the face that has the yellow band around it. Would then be like the Pit Boss I did which is a military inspired/themed piece. Once again, fits ideal.

Was going to revive / bump this thread today as well. Just a quick and gushing recommendation for Chop and this whole deal.

Once I spotted his kind offer, I immediately thought of it as a great opportunity to 'take care' of a number of my white framed pairs. So 8 pairs later, the results are some of what Josh has already posted.

First, processing time was great - and it was awesome to see Chop posting pics as they were being done. Once completed, shipping was awesome - and I received back all pairs earlier this week. The finish is awesome, and truly no imperfections to get all uppity about.

Thanks for your effort and creativity in creating a lot of enjoyable and wearable pairs for me! I would recommend it to anyone - and you are probably in an ever-improving condition as I was while Chop builds his array of colors and methods.

I have updated the color list as I have of course, added several more colors. Deal still stands, and checkout the updated site as I will be adding Cerakote Decals too. They don't sell stickers any longer, but said I gladly could haha.

I am pretty surprised people aren't jumping at this offer. I am able to churn out the Cerakote in days, not weeks, it doesn't chip like paint can during lens swaps, doesn't scratch without serious efforts, and damn sure is durable in every possible way.
