Just curious how many members here are going to RED next weekend?

I will be and I know of a few others. Should be a few familiar faces.

What's RED?

Jim's camera company. Being used for a lot of movies now instead of 35mm film. Hobbit was one of the more recent.

I was going to go but now I'm not :-/ since I was broke during the golden years (as well as being a kid) I have nothing worthy.
Also could see myself getting carried away with all the goods on display.

Please Document the F. out of this, wish I could be there but I feel selfish taking a spot with my weak collection.

I will be very interested to hear details from this as well. I'm sure FGG's collection and Chops' offerings will be impressive to see. I'll really be wondering how much Jim will transact on - and what he has to offer in trade (beyond Shoe 1's and the like).

I'm quite sure there will be plenty of pictures. Part of the reason I'm going is to document for a few people. Plus I hope to get some video for the youtube channel.

So glad Dann and co. can make it!!! I am really looking forward hanging with you guys! Unfortunately, I cannot join the mini HQ meet up on Friday bec I gotta take the kids to Disneyland.

I will only be satisfied if Dann returns home with a new Red camera. Maybe they have some sales samples on hand - you wouldn't mind the a small 'Sales Sample' stamp on the camera body, right Dann?
