There are a ton of watches and depends on what car you’re talking about.

Keeping it sub-$25k, these are my favourites that I don’t have that I’ve liked for years

Royal Oak Offshore as Bobby mentioned.
Rolex Daytona in SS. Even after decades, you still have to be on a dealer’s wait list for years or pay a steep premium on the secondary market to obtain one.
Rolex Submariner, Yatchmaster and SeaDweller
Patek Nautilus
JLC Reverso on SS bracelet.
Omega Speedmaster moonwatch
Omega Globemaster

There’s a ton more but those are what I think of in the sub-$25k range. There are some great stuff from IWC, Zenith and Breguet that I like (though I don’t know if the Breguet stuff is under $25k).

Totally depends on the kind of “car” your speaking of. Oak has a great list going. Ditto that and add Omega Seamaster and Seamaster Planet Ocean.

Oh yea, also the Vacheron & Constantin Overseas. This along with previously mentioned AP and Patek models rounds out the “Holy Trinity” of watches.

Definitely the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch.

I'm still rather new to the high-end watch market - so I don't really know what I'm talking about yet. HA! But...

I like (some of which have already been mentioned:

-URWERK 1001, 105, 110, 210, EMC, EMC Time Hunter,

-AP Royal Oak Concept

-Hublot MP-05 Laferrari Aperta

-I LOVE MB&F: Almost anything they do- HOROLOGICAL MACHINE N°9, N°8, N°6, MOONMACHINE 2, STARFLEET, The FIFTH ELEMENT, GRANT: https://www.mbandf.com/en/machines/co-creations/grant

I like the crazy, OTT watches.

Those are all super awesome. A lot more than $25k, that’s for sure. Some of them would be a nice condo + a car.

Yeah, that's why I asked about watches being less than a house or car because most of the ones I lean towards are really pricey.

Unless you are deeply interested in horology or entrenched in watch collecting, the news of Omega bringing back the storied caliber 321 in the modern age may not mean much. But for those interested, especially the Omega fans, this is very interesting and exciting stuff. Looking forward to what they do with it other than recreating the original NASA/Moon watch:

In-house movements have been the name of the game for the last 20 years if a brand wants to be taken seriously. AP has always been within the top 5 brands to most collectors. The only weakness is most of their chronographs use F. Piguet movements (i.e. using parts from the Swatch Group rather than make their own). They will have a base movement and layer a chronograph module on top of it, thus creating the calibers used in chronograph watches like the Royal Oak Offshore. Beautiful movements, but collectors being collectors and with watch collectors’ nature being snobby, the demand was for something more exclusive.

Fans of the brand have been asking for a pure in-house integrated chronograph movement for years. With the AP caliber 4401, they have answered that call and went over and above - a flyback chronograph movement that features a column-wheel and a vertical clutch:

Beautiful.

All part of the new range of watches called CODE 11.59:

Very cool and exciting to see Omega and all the things they are doing now. They have really upped their game lately. Apollo 8. Dark Side, and Deep Black are still on my list as soon as I recover from the Vampire. Can’t wait to see what the 321 caliber brings with it.

I would agree with you on the need for a full in house made movement, especially for the price, and the thought of the 11.59 getting it is exciting news. The watch itself did not receive a warm welcome this far. I have not gotten to see it in person, so I’ll reserve judgement on asthetics, but mechanically it fantastic. The bright side to it is that they can now use this movement for the Offshore line.

That Omega Speedmaster Apollo 50th anniversary edition is amazing. I love the detail and the texture they added to the dial and the movement.

Okay that is awesome. Cracked me up that they are handling it with white gloves but then try it on a bare wrist.

Do you guys know a $7,400 G-Shock exists? I sure didn’t:

In fact, there are many in the several-thousand-dollar range:

I did see they do make some higher-end models. Not sure I saw this $7,400 model before though. I like the translucent cases/bands. Big surprise. Right? Someday I'll track one down.

Not sure if it’s better than Invicta’s watches, but I do like Eco Drive.

Any G shock fans? I don’t see it, personally. Rather have a Gold Patek or AP.
