Thanks for the info Robert. I was talking with someone the other day and your name came up. Trying to remember who it was. I think it was when I was in Indiana last week. - GRFMotorsports

Was it at the Rolling O at the US Nationals?

May have been. I talked to so many people this last week. I bet it was Torch. That seems right.

Images are a little rough due to the source material, but it's cool to finally start having some stock photos for the vintage portion of the database.

I forget, what's the difference between Red and +Red Iridium?

Red sprung from Orange Mirror, so it was almost an early Fire.

I have a RED Iridium Strip and I always thought it was FIRE. I think you have a pic of it Oak.

The Fire name didn't come out until later. Orange was used on the Blades even after Red came out since they didn't rename the colorways. the previous page in this thread has an example.

i guess the only way to tell them apart easily is by the base lens. Red and +Red look very similar. I thought Robert's Strip lenses were +Red until he mentioned they are Red Iridium.

I think that would be the best method.

Isn't the +Red more of a purple?

To me they all look similar. This one is suppose to be +Red:

Is the correct frame for that box?

It was my understanding that box only for the original BLACK, WHITE and NEON YELLOW frame.

thx

Yes and no. Per previous discussion pages back it seems that in Europe some of the first later releases did come in Mumbo boxes.
